Hi @clarg,
Thanks for reaching out and for sharing your kind comments of support.
I’m sorry for the trouble here with translations. We don’t currently have reports of a similar issue, but would love to learn more. Could you share more details on how translations aren’t working for you when using the Loco Translate plugin? If you have any screenshots to share, that would be a big help in better following along.
MonsterInsights Lite has community-contributed translations. So if your WordPress is set up to use translations, then it should be pulling in translation files. Anyone can contribute translations at https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/projects/wp-plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress
Thank you.
Hi @josemhg,
Thanks for reaching out. It looks like this thread has been marked as resolved, but in case you run into similar issues again in the future, please try fully disconnecting MonsterInsights first.
- Log into your wp-admin
- Go to Insights » Settings.
- Click on the arrow to show buttons https://a.supportally.com/i/sRufHT and click on Disconnect MonsterInsights. You might need to do this step twice if it shows an error the first time, and that’s okay, it should work on the second try.
- Now you should get a success message saying you’ve successfully disconnected.
While fully disconnected, go ahead and connect MonsterInsights again.
Thank you!
Hi @aussiecomadmin,
Thanks for sharing. We issued a patch for email summaries in version 8.24.0 but it sounds like you’re still having some issues on the more recent versions.
Would we be able to take a closer look at what’s going on? Please reach out to us directly at https://www.monsterinsights.com/get-help/
Thanks so much!
Hi @samkallkwik,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the trouble here.
As far as I’m aware, there have been no changes to the code snippet and it should work as is. If this is being inserted via a code snippet plugin, could you double check that it is currently activated and running?
If it still doesn’t seem to work, I’m happy to help take a direct look at things if you could reach out to us at https://www.monsterinsights.com/get-help/
Thanks so much!

Hi @aussiecomadmin,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the trouble here.
I’m happy to help troubleshoot why the email summary report doesn’t look quite right. Could you provide the following details?
- The URL of your website
- The current version of MonsterInsights plugin running on your website
Thanks so much!
Hi @jeschiller,
Thanks for reaching out.
The dashboard widget report added by MonsterInsights can be moved and expanded, but we don’t currently have a way to adjust the type of graph used, or a way to customize how data is organized in reports. I’ve added this to our feature request list for our team to consider down the road.
I apologize we don’t have what you’re looking for in this case, though we appreciate the suggestion!Â
Hi @room34,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I’m sorry about the recommended plugins. It’s not our intent to cause clutter. We try to provide as much value as possible to our users by suggesting plugins that we integrate with directly for more reporting features because a lot of users aren’t aware of them and can benefit greatly.
If you prefer to not install suggested plugins, you’ll be able to either deselect them for installation in the Setup Wizard or skip that step entirely by clicking on Skip for Now.
We understand not everyone is ready to share a review and so the notice can be dismissed using the “Maybe Later” option, but if you prefer not to use UserFeedback, you can remove it from your site like other WordPress plugins. Here’s a guide in case it helps: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-properly-uninstall-a-wordpress-plugin/
If you decide to give UserFeedback a try down the road and have any questions, feel welcome to post in our support threads at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/userfeedback-lite/ and our team will be happy to help.
Sincerely.
Hi @kellye,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. I’m sorry about our free version seeming not useful or feeling too limited.
If you wanted to just use vanilla Google Analytics alone, you definitely could. Our goal at MonsterInsights is to take care of the heavy lifting so website owners don’t need to worry about inserting tracking code and keeping things up to date when Google changes something (for example, when Google Analytics 4 replaced Universal Analytics properties last year).
Once MonsterInsights is connected to a Google Analytics property, tracking is automatically inserted into your WordPress site. In addition, we include reports viewable inside of your WordPress dashboard so it’s easier to view the stats that matter. You can learn more about the differences between Google Analytics and MonsterInsights here: https://www.monsterinsights.com/monsterinsights-vs-google-analytics-whats-the-real-difference/
With MonsterInsights Lite, you’re able to track and view critical site statistics (such as page views in the last 30 days, top posts and pages, etc). In addition to tracking page views, we automatically help track the following custom events:
- Download link tracking
- Affiliate link tracking
- Outbound link tracking
- Telephone link tracking
- Email link tracking
- Custom link click events
We also include a monthly email summary report, alongside other useful tools like a headline analyzer, a UTM URL builder, a widget for displaying the most popular posts, to help increase site engagement. When making any changes to your site, you can also add a site note to help keep track of the impact it has on your analytics.
More advanced tracking and reporting features aren’t available or enabled for websites using Lite, but we try to provide as much value as possible to our users by communicating the Pro version features because a lot of users aren’t aware of them and can benefit greatly. For the data we do help track in our free version, all of it is accessible within your Google Analytics property at analytics.google.com. To learn more about our tracking features in Lite, please see here: https://www.monsterinsights.com/how-to-get-an-unlimited-free-trial-of-monsterinsights-forever/
We really appreciate you for giving us a try and if you have any suggestions for the things you’d like to see in the Lite version, please let me know and I’d be happy to share your feedback with the team.
Thank you.
