Iโm sorry about our free version seeming not useful or feeling too limited, we try to provide as much value as possible to our users by communicating the Pro version features because a lot of users arenโt aware of them and can benefit greatly.
In case it helps to know, with MonsterInsights Lite, you’re able to track and view critical site statistics (such as page views in the last 30 days, top posts and pages, etc) and automatically track the following custom events:
- Download link tracking
- Affiliate link tracking
- Outbound link tracking
- Telephone link tracking
- Email link tracking
- Custom link click events

We also include a monthly email summary report, alongside other useful tools like a headline analyzer, a UTM URL builder, a widget for displaying the most popular posts, to help increase site engagement. When making any changes to your site, you can also add a site note to help keep track of the impact it has on your analytics.

If you log into your website in an incognito/private browsing window of your web browser, and attempt to access your reports that way, does the same issue occur?
If you’re able to view your reports without issue, then it’s likely there’s a browser extension causing a conflict with MonsterInsights. Please follow the steps to resolve this in our guide here: https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/fix-javascript-error/

With our Lite version, you’re able to track and view critical site statistics such as page views in the last 30 days, the top posts and pages, etc.
To view a full report of all your pages, as well as share and export your reports, this can be done directly at analytics.google.com.

Once MonsterInsights is installed on a WordPress site and then connected to a Google Analytics property, data from that property is displayed in the reports we help insert into the WordPress admin at Insights ยป Reports.
While we do not have controlled view access per specific user, we have a feature to limit which WordPress user roles can view reports and settings at Insights ยป Settings ยป Advanced ยป Permissions. All users with access will be able to see the data from the same Google Analytics property within that WordPress site.
