Hi Catcatcat,
I’m sorry you were experiencing trouble; I think it may have been an issue with your connection or DNS provider, as our monitoring does not indicate that there have been any issues in the last 24 hours. Nor have we heard from customers of any issues.
Please let me know if you experience any other trouble.
Sincerely,

In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] Cannot edit rotatorHi,
I’m sorry you’re experiencing trouble. For the future, you can usually get a faster response time by opening a support ticket at http://www.dwuser.com/ .
I recommend you first double-check that Adobe AIR is up-to-date on your system: http://get.adobe.com/air/ . If the problem persists, please confirm if this issue is only when editing or also when creating a new slider. If you can open a support ticket, please feel free to send temporary login credentials and we’ll be happy to attempt to reproduce and diagnose the issue.
Sincerely,
Drew O’NeillHappy to help. Thanks for the update.
Sincerely,
Drew O’NeillHi @crawford252,
Thanks for using EasyRotator! The transitions should be fluid; have you checked the page on any other computers to be sure it isn’t a system-specific issue? If that’s not the issue, please send the page URL and I’ll check it.
To avoid the “jog” back to the start at the end of the slides, you can enable the Wraparound / Infinite Looping option in the Settings section of the editor. Please note that this is a Pro feature.
Sincerely,

In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] SEO and easyrotator ?Hi,
Thanks for using EasyRotator for WordPress. To specify alt text for a slide, set the title value for that slide. This will ensure that alt text is available to Google and other search engines.

In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] Padding around rotatorHi,
Thanks for the clarification; to add padding below every rotator, you can add this CSS to your stylesheet:
.easyRotatorWrapper { padding-bottom: 50px; }Sincerely,

In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] as per the other one star reviewsHi @travellers,
In agreement with @esmi, we’d appreciate any constructive feedback you can provide. If there’s a specific issue, we’d love to take the opportunity to improve; if the issue simply relates to having to install an external editor application, I’ve shared in other posts our philosophy on that:
The external editor application allows for more efficient and powerful editing features; for example, images can be resized and optimized before being uploaded to the web. This saves uploading time and allows for quicker development. Obviously, not every plugin is perfect for every use case. EasyRotator for WordPress is well maintained and offers extensive functionality. Many other plugins are more limited and/or don’t receive regular maintenance. While the up-front setup usually takes a minute or two (as mentioned clearly in the plugin description), we believe that the long-term benefits outweigh the initial investment.
This requirement is mentioned in the plugin requirements; if you disagree with having to install an external editor we certainly respect your opinion, but we do humbly request that you not bash the plugin when reading the requirements could have allowed you to effectively prejudge the plugin’s merits for your situation.
Thanks.
Sincerely,

In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] Invalid Rotator IDHi @peterbiro,
Thanks for using EasyRotator. Please try re-inserting the rotator in case you accidentally modified the shortcode in a way that broke the rotator reference. If the problem persists, please try creating another rotator to see if the problem is isolated to that one rotator.

In reply to: [EasyRotator for WordPress - Slider Plugin] Deceitful and Waste of TimeHi,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I’m afraid there may have been some misunderstanding, though; all of the screenshots at http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/easyrotator-for-wordpress/screenshots/ highlight features that are fully available in the Standard/free version. If you can please identify any information that you found misleading, we’ll happily correct that.
