In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] KwanzaaLast week, when I started this thread, the instant I hit the “Publish” button the 2026 date would arbitrarily reset to 2025 and then tell me my end date had to be after the start date. It was, before it arbitrarily reset itself.
I just now tried again, and everything seems to be working fine now. The 2026 date was accepted and published as I originally planned.
If you did sonething to fix it, thank you! If not, then I guess I unintentionally raised a false alarm.
Anyway, it’s working for me now.

In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] New Repetition PatternI completely understand your reluctance to take on the job, and would probably have the same attitude if I had no use for it myself. However, there are some of us out here who need it. If you have any inclination to try to add it, I can now provide a couple of GW-BASIC programs that will calculate the dates I need. One of them calculates the date for the nth occurrence [First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth (if there is one), or Last] of any weekday in any month of whatever year you specify. The other will give you the dates of Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday), Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Pentecost for any year you specify. I also have a third program that will determine the date of the start of Hanukkah in any given year. Even though I have those now, I still would like to see their function added to My Calendar.

In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] Missing Calendar PageI finally got it to work by:
- Deactivating and deleting the “My Calendar” plugin
- Deleting the existing “Calendar” page
- Deleting all pages in the “Trash”
- Cleaning the database
- Emptying the cache
- Creating a new “Calendar” page
- Installing and activating the “My Calendar” plugin
Note: I couldn’t get it to work without creating a “Calendar” page before installing the “My Calendar” plugin.
Thanks!

In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] Missing Calendar PageYes, I did. Unfortunately, I’ve created, deleted, uninstalled, and reinstalled so many times that I can no longer find it. There are several versions in the Trash, but none of them is the right one. Is there a cache I need to clear in order to start over from the very beginning?
Thanks!
Fixed! You deserve better than a 5 out of 5 for the lightning-fast response. Thank you!
Looking forward to it. Thank you!
Same problem here. This has been going on for several days at least.

In reply to: WP Edit ProThanks for your quick response. I found that site but, as you said, all of its links are dead. And the plugin’s author doesn’t respond to my inquiry.
I guess I have to agree that it’s time to find something else. It’s really unfortunate, because that was once one of the best plugins available.

In reply to: Media Library ContentThanks, but, if you read my explanation you would know that I already tried all of those things. That’s why I asked for help. What else might be a solution to the problem?

In reply to: Attempting to add a new page or post causes errorI just tried “reinstalling” again, and there’s still no change.
Any other ideas?

In reply to: Attempting to add a new page or post causes errorHi Hari:
Thank you for the quick response.
Unfortunately, what you suggest is exactly what I did when I “reinstalled” WordPress. The problem still exists.
