Thank you WPyogi.. I just may have to do that. Bill, I have sent email to her son asking him to search her computer with your file extension suggestions. He says he’s pretty computer savy so we’ll see. James, I will keep these login’s.. I know she built numerous wordpress websites for other small business owners too that may not even know they don’t have a web site any longer. She built this one and I see it’s still up and running though??

I did renew it I suppose. They managed to reassign the domain back to me as the original owner after I sent them some legal paperwork for my business and I had to accept it in my godaddy account which I think renewing it was part of the deal.

I suppose what happened is that she was paying them to host it and I would repay her every 3 or 4 months. When she passed away and the credit card was cancelled I imagine they took down my site?? Just a guess.

also, just so I am clear. I have two issues.. one is the godaddy hosting and my inability to get at that and the other is wordpress as it would also have a login and password correct? I have her son searching her computer for any login and passwords she may have stored and I could probably talk to a supervisor at GoDaddy but still the wordpress will be even harder to get if at all.. am I correct? Thank you for all that are responding. I truly appreciate it.

I have absolutely no access to the back end of my website at all so I don’t know if there are options missing. I assume they are there.
She also was absolutely obsessed with hacking and really dialed in on security since it happened to some of her other sites and she spent hours getting them back up and running.

I am not sure of how the billing goes, but I know if there were fees charged that those have not been paid since her credit/debit cards have been shut down. Most all of the plug in’s she had were free but there may have been some that weren’t.
