  • Hi, madgrannynoob: A number of people have responded to your cry from the depths and this response is just to encourage you to not give up! A little over a year ago I was in the same spot where you are, and once I solved the login problems it was pretty plain sailing. One suggestion: I did purchase a couple of Premium addons, particularly for the theme I selected, and that was pretty cheap and helped a lot. Kudos to you and to all the kind folk who have been helping you!

    Yes, I have been in touch (?) with Bluehost numerous times since the end of September. Thank you all for the suggestion. I have called, chatted and emailed back and forth with several different Bluehost people. They are obsessed with a thought that I am a business; I am not a business therefore I do not have the documents they ask for. I have sent them a copy of my personal receipt for their hosting that they sent me, new email address, snail-mail address and phone number and a color copy of my drivers license. Also DNS info on two of the domains I own,and one that I don’t own, but I am listed as Admin and Technical contact. No moves forward, but I’m still trying. Now they want a copy of my personal utility bill, which seems intrusive to me. Why do they need that? I’m in touch (?) with a brick wall. Worst “customer service” I have ever had in my long life. I know you are not affiliated with Bluehost, you are volunteers for this ww.wp.xz.cn support forum. However, does anybody out there have any idea where to go to get Bluehost to review the information I have sent them, and move ahead? Obviously I desperately need help. Thanks.

    George – thank you for your response – however I’m still not able to connect. I understand that you are all volunteers and I appreciate any help. However, the suggested codex.ww.wp.xz.cn link just does not work for me. All the steps begin with “logon to your admin” or something similar, and that is something I can not do, because of the issues I have shared. One of the codex links goes to a deleted page. It makes sense for me to go through Bluehost – I’ve been trying to resolve the issue with them for almost two weeks now – still no joy. I have filled out forms etc. for them but never get a response. It seems likely that they are emailing the responses to the email account I used when I set up the account, but I no longer have access to that email. In the Bluehost forms I fill out, I give them two different emails they

    use for me, but I receive nothing from them at either one. I even attached a .pdf of the receipt that Bluehost sent for the money I paid, and also a copy of an email that Bluehost sent me in August confirming the account. Enough whining. I simply don’t know what I can do next.

    This is definitely a ww.wp.xz.cn site but I’m not getting any help – just the brush-off. I have an email from ww.wp.xz.cn sent on August 21 that confirms that I have that site. I just don’t remember the password. According to that email my user name is gonenativeus. I TRY TO LOG IN, but since I don’t remember the password, I get a window saying that a link to reset password is being sent to my email, but I never, never receive it. Perhaps they are sending it to my old email address, [redacted], TO WHICH I NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS. My current emails addresses are [email redacted].`There must be some way to resolve this problem,so please point me that way.

    Steve – how would I know for sure if I used WordPress.com or ww.wp.xz.cn as a design platform? I have had emails from both.

    Thanks,Steve – but I was not able to make this work. Everything crashed several weeks ago. This is a multi-faceted issue. Theree has to be a way to work through it. I am working on retrieving access to my Bluehost.com account – so far ineffectually. You say that I may need to contact ww.wp.xz.cn. I thought that was what I was doing. If there is another way to reach ww.wp.xz.cn, please give me that link. I have lots of information, just not the password. Thanks.
