In reply to: [OceanWP] Header alignment issueThanks for this! I could not input 0.1px into the customizer box – it reverted to zero. But 1px works well enough.
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP Custom Admin Interface] Colorized Admin MenuThanks for this – it sounded like the perfect solution but I couldn’t get it to work.
Here are a couple of screenshots showing the code I added to the top menu item (Dashboard) plus the CSS code. You can see that the Dashboard menu item still doesn’t have a green background.

When I check the page in Chrome Inspector I can’t see the menu-item-green class show up anywhere.
Any thoughts?

OK – thanks

In reply to: [iThemes Exchange - Custom Loop Add-on] Pages not showing correctlyThanks Ronald – that earlier post explained it well enough. I made the changes and it all seems to work now.
Thanks again,

In reply to: [iThemes Exchange - Custom Loop Add-on] Pages not showing correctlyThanks Ronald. I solved the issue by increasing the number of items shown on each page thereby eliminating the need for additional pages for each category (“products per page” > than the total number of items). This is closer to what the client wanted anyway.
The “number of columns in grid view” defaults to 3. When that page is viewed on a smartphone the columns stay at 3 which means that the images are really tiny and the text is rendered very hard to read. I do have a value of 600px in the “viewport to default to list view” box but I don’t notice that anything changes at 600px – the items just get smaller and smaller.
Am I missing something? Obviously I want to make sure the items show up correctly when viewed on a smartphone.

In reply to: [iThemes Exchange - Custom Loop Add-on] Pages not showing correctlyHi Ronald!
Any news on this? I’m hoping to launch the site this week and this is one of the last issues I need to clear up.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Dreadful supportJeffrey, I’m also happy that the issue got resolved.
The product generally does a good job but maybe you ought to clarify that in your Support Forum on your website answers are optional and that only posts at ww.wp.xz.cn (that is with a bigger audience) get answered promptly.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Error code issue reported 2 weeks agoNot sure that its either. We’re not using the calendar page.
In the All-in-One Event Calendar: Settings page under Viewing events I’ve selected the calendar page to be “Workshops & Seminars” http://scoremetronj.com/workshops-seminars/
On the Workshops & Seminars page within WP admin there’s no code or content.

In reply to: [Easy Testimonials] Fade issues with 1.5.9Richard – that didn’t work.
Now there’s a white box around the text and the slide transition is still jerky.
I have another site where its working perfectly, here I installed 1.5.9 directly rather than updated it from an earlier version. I think I should just deactivate, uninstall and re-install.

In reply to: [Easy Testimonials] Fade issues with 1.5.9Richard – the fade transition worked fine in the previous version. I made no changes to the CSS then and it worked fine.
You can see the issue if you go to this page http://www.dsmtestdomain.com/terraceelectric
Are you saying that I now need to make changes to the CSS to make this work? If so I’ll need some more precise instruction on what to change.
JohnT
Richard – thanks for getting back to me.
I do have 1.5.9 installed and the transition fade is not working correctly. The effect looks like the text is being overtyped rather than a smooth fade in and out. You can see the problem at my test domain:
dsmtestdomain.com/terraceelectricHere is the short code I’m using [testimonials_cycle timer=”4000″]
Settings are all set to the default or blank.
The fade worked OK with these settings before I upgraded to 1.5.9
