Thanks for the reply. I know the changes, WordFence has an option to compare both files š
You shouldn’t change files in the repository without changing the version number to trigger an actual update, because no matter how big the change, even a single character change will trigger WordFence (and other security plugins) as it could mean that the website has been compromised.
Thanks for understanding

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache - WordPress Cache Plugin] Cached pages can be visitedExactly, it doesn’t prevent direct access to the cached files.

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache - WordPress Cache Plugin] Cached pages can be visitedThanks. Is it an idea to have WP Fastest cache automatically redirect direct requests to the cached files to the clean url?

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache - WordPress Cache Plugin] Cached pages can be visitedHi, thank you! That redirects most pages to the right page, but translated pages get redirected wrong.
So I have for example
https://www.maindomain.nl/wp-content/cache/all/menukaart/index.html
Which is correctly redirected to
https://www.maindomain.nl/menukaart/The translated pages cache is at
https://www.maindomain.nl/wp-content/cache/all/de/menuekarte/index.htmlWhich is not correctly redirected to
https://www.maindomain.nl/all/de/menuekarte/
That should be without /all/
https://www.maindomain.nl/de/menuekarte/Is there a way to fix that too?
Any idea how Google Search Console could find the cached versions? I haven’t seen that before on other websites.
Thanks

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache - WordPress Cache Plugin] Cached pages can be visitedThanks, that’s the article I already mentioned, but that’s not the problem. Pages are not redirected to the cached version and there is no RewriteRule similar to the one mentioned in that article.
Hi and thank you for explaining.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think that in-admin help for the/any plugin should be part of the plugin itself. It shouldn’t rely on another plugin to reveal the help content. I did install it to see what it does and I am not really impressed.
Anyway, yes the original bug is fixed. I hope the alerts don’t periodically come back, not even after an update of your plugins…
Sorry I am so frustrated about this. I realise this is mainly because I manage many websites, all of them with your business profile plugin, and a lot with restaurant reservations and the restaurant menu, so I get to see these notices multiple times a day right after login. It’s annoying when you just closed them, and see them again when you open the next website. Probably the average user who manages just one website can’t be bothered with it.
I still would like to ask you to stop showing them on the main WP dashboard and only show them on the dashboard/pages of your own plugin where you also promote your other plugins. Same with the question that keeps asking for a review. If every plugin would show all kinds of notices on the main WP dashboard it would become a hot mess.
Thanks for understanding
JPStop this madness! Please!
This is 3 of your plugins all promoting the same thing.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for explaining. What do you mean with: “This other plugin is actually used to add/provide in-admin help, tutorials, links to documentation and an AI assistant for the reservations plugin.“
It’s just a general AI plugin that doesn’t mention the restaurant reservations plugin at any place at all.
It wasn’t even clear where this promo came from until I searched and found that the ‘get the pro link’ contains ‘utm_source=restaurant-reservations’ after which I saw that the author is the same as for this plugin.
It’s one thing to show upgrade banners to users of a free plugin, but showing banners of another unrelated plugin from a different company (wpaiplugins.dev versus fivestarplugins.com versus etoilewebdesign.com) is sketchy. Especially if it’s on the main dashboard without clear reference.
Thanks

In reply to: [Site Reviews] ReCapcha v3 badge not shownYes that works now. Thank you for the quick fix!

Thank you!

In reply to: [Site Reviews] ReCapcha v3 badge not shownIt’s still inline in the Forminator contact form (here) right above the submit button.
(although they have an issue atm that it’s invisible until you open the inspector in Chrome/Edge/Firefox on Windows, it’s ok on Android)

In reply to: [Site Reviews] ReCapcha v3 badge not shownThanks for the quick response Paul. Mmm that’s strange, I checked my custom css for that and couldn’t find it, and after changing the
assign_tovalue it appeared. One issue left though, the placement is bottom right, but I have set it to inline below the submit button. I tried all placement options, but it remains bottom right. Changing the theme colour does work. Any idea?

In reply to: [Master Slider - Responsive Touch Slider] Security vulnerabilityI received the following messages back from them:
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We understand the importance of clear communication, especially regarding security matters. While the issue does not appear to be critical, we are preparing an update that includes general improvements.
Please note that our team continuously monitors reports through recognized vulnerability services, and all releases are distributed through official platforms such as the WordPress repository and Envato, where they undergo standard security reviews. An update for Master Slider Lite is currently in progress and will address reported issues. However, Iām not able to provide an exact release date at this time, as updates for several of our other products are also underway, and each one needs to go through its full development and review process before release.
They also replied to my support request in their depicter support forum here.
As expected, they try to let you switch to that plugin, so I asked if they have a conversion tool for that. No reply to that yet.
Ok, I’ll have a look. Thank you for your help!
