The theme’s designer got back to me several times and in the end, couldn’t find a workable solution. They said, “I must inform you that implementing this solution is beyond the scope of our support – it would require advanced development expertise.” I’m totally cool with it and will figure out a workaround via CSS.

Within CPT UI, I do have the option to add ‘Custom supports’ but I’m not sure what values to add to this field. Should I contact the theme’s author or do you have another suggestion to try.
