In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] PayPal complete your payment setup loopI spoke too soon. Doesn’t work. False alarm.
I am still stuck in the loop of PayPal telling me that I am connected (“Your account is linked to WooCommerce and you’re ready to take payments on your site. You can go to your business account to set up your new capabilities and link a bank account.“), I return to WooCommerce and it still then states I have not finished setup and sends me back to the ‘Complete your PayPal setup’ in WooCommerce page, even though I habve had onscreen confirmation that the set-up was ompleted and approved.
This is a new installation as well, so I have no idea what is going on.Could it be getting upset because I am setting this up on behalf of a client and I sit in one Country, but the store is in another ??? The PayPal account and where I have said the store is located are the same (Netherlands – PayPal was setup in Dutch, to make sure everythign was fine. The company is a registered Dutch company). Site hosted in Germany, I am in the UK !
Just desperate now…..

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] PayPal complete your payment setup loopHi, sorry for late reply, I had been pulled onto another project.
Looks like it has worked for me, so thank you so much. I just need to test it again on another installation, but all looks good so far.
Thank you so much everyone for your support and action, truly appreciated and one happy client !Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] PayPal complete your payment setup loopSo you are confident it is nothing within the WooCommerce plugin element that is causing this issue ? Surely when any Payment plugin is added, it also adds/integrates with the exisiting WooCommerce plugin, so could there not be an issue there ?
I have also raised a ticket on the WooCommerce PayPal support forum, but nobody has got back yet, apart from another developer with the same issue.

Looks like it has all been resolved with the latest update (Version 2.8.9). Nothing official from UM about this so far, but happened to notice the plugin upgrade, so just updated and tested anyway.
Hopefully this works for everyone…….

Here’s hoping that they come up with a patch/update soon. I am going to have to roll-back until they can get some resolution but this is something myself and a few others have been raising for a little while.
No feedback from UM as yet and I would imagine paid users are having the same issue as it is a ‘core’ issue.I have completed lot’s if further testing and no matter what I do, it just does not trigger the Welcome Email when Auto-Approve is activated.
I’ve tried removing templates, refreshing, clearing cache, adding DEBUG, everything I can think of.
The only thing now I can believe is that there is a bug within UM, but I am surprised more people have not reported it.
Very frustrating as it was working when I initially installed, so the only conclusion is that a UM plugin update has caused this issue.
It would be nice if somebody from UM could comment on this and offer advice, either try this or yes, we are seeing the same issue, we are working on a patch.
I’ve spent hours and hours trying to work out what might be going on.
Ahhh, I was so fixated on putting a drop down in my form, I didn’t see the option for ‘pre-defined’ when adding another item.
Feel like a complete imbecile ! Too tired and stressed. I will give this a go and I am sure it will work.
Now I also know what that error message is actually trying to tell me ! Ooops !
