@mstudioil You might be able to pull this off by showing the popup before the product page is displayed. That would probably be the best you could do with WP Terms Popup. There’s no way to trigger the popup on an action, like adding an item to a cart with a button press, for example.
@ainstushar WP Terms Popup works on cookies only. There is no database integration for saving whether or not someone has agreed to a popup.
The Collector add-on does not solve this issue. It’s possible it will in the future but I can’t make any guarantees if/when that would happen.
@m4f5r I just checked the URL you provided and I don’t see WP Terms Popup running. I’m going to close this topic.
@danny1245 It shouldn’t leave any lasting effects after you disable it. Declining the popup results in no actions being taken at all. Agreeing does create a small cookie in the visitor’s browser but that cookie would be ignored if the plugin was disabled.
If you want to email me the URL of your site I can take a look quick and maybe get a better idea if there’s a problem: support {at} linksoftwarellc {dot} com
@lyleham Can you give me a URL to check out? If you don’t want to post it here you can email it to me directly at [email protected].
In the meantime, I’ll go through the code and see if I can replicate your issue and come up with a fix.
@thaissamendes Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll look at getting this into the next release.
@dhruvwp There’s a couple of ways to accomplish this but it depends on how your site is setup. I wrote up a quick tutorial that will hopefully get you sorted out or at least headed in the right direction:
How to show a popup on a home page in WordPress?

@rawshan008 It’s tough for me to diagnose without a link but I do know people on WP Engine have had caching problems in the past as well as issues with cookies. That might be a place to start looking for a solution.
@momomoko Sorry, but that’s not something built in at the moment. The decline button only allows for a static URL and nothing dynamic at this time.
@dannymax I just released a new version (2.0.1) that brings the shortcode back. Please let me know if you have any more problems here on the forum or via email: support {at} linksoftwarellc.com
@comptedev I just released a new version (2.0.1) that should fix this.
@kenvis @vdominik19 If I was going to add some kind of “WooCommerce Exclusion” options under Settings… what would be best? I was thinking some checkboxes that let you stop WP Terms Popup from showing on the following:
- Products
- Categories
- Cart
- Checkout
Would that cover your needs?
It’s more than likely an issue with WP Fastest Cache. I would suggest turning on the “Load popups with JavaScript?” option in WP Terms Popup’s Settings panel and then resetting your site’s cache.
@bildo17 I was afraid you were going to say Android. I don’t have any good means to test that for you. It might be a CSS issue with WP Terms Popup or a conflict with your theme or another plugin.
I’m sorry to say but you might want to find a different popup solution in the meantime. It might be awhile before I can figure out a fix (if one exists).
@bildo17 This is the second report like this I’ve received this week. Unfortunately, when I visit your site on my iPhone with Safari the site and the popup load just fine so I can’t recreate the issue.
Are you experiencing this across all mobile devices or is it just happening on certain devices/browsers?
