@markurs thanks for pointing out the mistake, the correct code to enable ?replytocom variables is indeed:
add_filter( 'wpseo_remove_reply_to_com', '__return_false' );@barbarawebnauta @markurs the solution to add the snippet from above without losing it at the next theme update is creating a child theme and adding that snippet in the functions.php file of the child theme.
This will allow you to update your WordPress theme and plugins without losing the snippet to enable ?replytocom variables.
@ispreview apologies for the confusion, the correct snippet is:
add_filter( 'wpseo_remove_reply_to_com', '__return_false' );Unfortunately, it’s not possible to remove posts from the sitemap without noindexing them.
You can disable the XML Sitemaps by going to SEO → General → Features → XML Sitemaps.
Hi @mark-westworth,
To fix this issue, you can redirect attachment URLs to the attachments by going to SEO → Search Appearance → Media.
SVG is a valid format for schema.org markup. However, the best way to be sure is to submit your website to Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool and check if there are any errors under Organization.
Without further investigation, we could not say for sure what the reason might be. However, one of the most common reasons for this issue is a low maximum memory limit.
Please try increasing the maximum memory limit and let us know if the issue persists.
If you are already using 128M, try increasing it to 256M, as the memory consumption can vary on any site for a large number of factors including other plugins, themes, and the site’s optimization settings.

Please note that as long as the source code is there (and it is), Search Engines will not have any issues with the XML sitemap.
Can you confirm that you have performed a conflict check, meaning all other plugins but Yoast SEO were disabled?
It is safe to ignore that warning in your case.
The warning refers other sitemaps of the whole website which you might have, which could create issues. Since the sitemaps you are using are only for custom post types, you can ignore that warning.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to noindex the subpages anymore. You can read more on why this feature was removed here.
Getting a good SEO score by Yoast SEO depends on the focus keyword which you have chosen for that post/page.
When editing that page, if you scroll down to the Yoast SEO Premium’s meta box, you should see the analysis tab which contains feedback on what needs improving (it should look like this: https://i.imgur.com/vCxcHqL.png). If you follow those steps, you should get a green bullet for the SEO score.
Hi @teshuva,
You can use this plugin to transfer your current SEO data from Add Meta Tags to Yoast SEO.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to say why search engines consider the archive page a better result than your homepage. It is possible that your homepage is not optimized for that keyword.
We did check your site on Google and your homepage is the first result: https://i.imgur.com/fcMevz5.png
If you’ve noindexed archive pages, then you can expect that the archive page will be removed from Google’s index soon.
Your current meta description for the homepage is
Fotos und Geschichten über eine Low Budget Weltreise mit Backpacks."/>Is this the description you’ve set in Yoast SEO? If so, then please wait up to one week until Google updates their cache.
Please note that changes to your title and meta description are not expected to be reflected instantly in the search engines. It will take some time until the search engines crawl your page again update their index.
