Hey @diamondrcreative,
I’ve done some change to re-start the process for your site. Can you go to your WordPress dashboard -> Media -> Optimole click on Refresh stats button.
Once that you do this, you can check the site, the redirect should no longer happening.
Make sure to clear any caching that you might have.
I hope this helps.
Hey @alistairk,
I’ve added a fail-safe mechanism to avoid such issues in the latest v2.1.1
Please update and let me know if you run in any other issues.
Thanks for understanding!

Hello @diamondrcreative,
The redirects are happening when we are not able to download the images from your site for processing.
Checking the server logs I see that we have this error reported:
EPROTO 139753040463744:error:14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure:If we do detect an error, we never try again to avoid possible abuse.
Looking at your site certificate I see that you have renewed yesterday, so it might have been after you have tried to use Optimole?
Regarding the image optimization, those should start in approx 30s since you connected your account, for sure 12h is too much and that SSL error was the root cause.
Let me know your thoughts.

Hey @sarsoeurng,
It might be a misunderstanding, Optimole is working just fine with Slider Revolution when the Scale Image and Lazyload setting from the Optimole plugin dashboard is turned off.
The reason why is not working with it ON is because the Slider Revolution has its own way of lazy loading the images which break or is not compatible with ours.
I hope this helps.
Hello @graphicfox,
That’s strange, I will check this out and add a type check in the plugin code to avoid this kind of error.
Have you changed the hosting recently or added some change to them recently?
Thanks !
Hello @eyetooth-art,
Right now we are working on a mechanism to allow purging the cache for a specific image but at this moment the only way of doing this is to replace the image filename. We use this level of caching to ensure our users have a seamless optimization and deliverability of their image.
Regarding the compressed setting, make sure after you change the value and save it, clear your hosting cache for the new links to show up.
I hope this helps.
Hey @bepahcontractors,
Can you try this link -> https://docs.optimole.com/article/1090-how-to-remove-the-optimole-links-from-my-site and let me know if the pieces of information from there solve your issue?
Thanks!
Hello @jayeltee,
I’m sorry for your problems but I’m pretty sure that there is a misconfiguration issue or a possible conflict with your environment that you use.
I would be happy to have a look at your site and help you identify the issue as the slowness won’t be happening because of Optimole.
Looking forward to helping you!

Hello @andrianina,
Thanks for letting me know, I will further investigate this issue.
Hello @kikib,
Yes, if you remove the blurry placeholder tweak, you might have issues in the re-scaling of the images if you don’t define the image container width/height, i.e if they have auto height.
I hope this helps.
Hello @wp-boffin,
If the plugin is off you should no longer see the links being present.
Have you cleared the cache after uninstall? Also if you use Elementor or something similar, you might need to regenerate the CSS files too.
Let me know how it goes.
Hello @kikib,
It might be a misunderstanding of how the Resize large images work.
Basically what that image is doing is normalizing the image width/height to the specified values.
If you use an image on your site larger than those values, we will lower it to those limits.
I hope this helps.
Hello
Can you please check this doc and let me know if this helps?
