Hi @kopfundstift,
Thanks for your feedback.
There might be a misunderstanding here since our PPWP plugin is a password protection plugin, which does not come with blocking search engine indexing by default.
Might we know where you have got this information/feature from?

In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] Not worth the priceHi Robbie,
We really appreciate your feedback.
Just to clarify, it’s not $170 per month but per year instead 🙂
We believe pricing does not only reflect the cost of a plugin but the value it brings to the users, and that’s what really matters.
Imagine you need to use our plugin, for example, to protect your premium content and allow access to only people who have paid for it, you will know how much it really costs.
Sure, there will be other cheaper solutions available out there. But will you be able to find any plugin providing a similar method that work exactly as you need without a time-consuming setup process?
And of course, the plugin’s cost can never be compared to the cost to produce your valuable content, right?
Remember all the time and effort you put into creating those pieces of content, and how much money you will save from protecting them against public access. We believe it will be all worth it.
Besides, we do not just invent the price without taking into consideration a bunch of factors in the industry.
In fact, there are numerous WordPress plugins whose yearly price for a 3-site license is more than $150; one-time fee costs up to $800. You can refer to the pricing of Gravity Forms and AffiliateWP just to name a few, to see our point.
Anyway, we thank you for taking the time to test our plugin and give feedback. If there is any features you would like to add to our plugin to make it more worthy to you, please let us know.
Thousands of customers worldwide are happy with our plugin. We hope you could be one of them in the future.
Above all, “Good plugin that does what it says” deserves at least a 4-star review, don’t you agree? 😛

Hi @fitnfunr,
Thanks for your feedback.
Just to clarify, thousands of users are using our plugin to protect both their Posts & Pages.
It’s likely that you’re using a custom (page builder) template. That’s why the protection doesn’t work.
Could you please send us the sample page URL you want to protect so that we can take a look and advise you accordingly?
Please allow us to help. I believe you won’t be disappointed.
