I am not sure I understand the request fully. Do you mean that you want to link to a specific category tab from the main menu or somewhere else? If so, yes, that is possible in the Pro version only currently.

For the record, we tested with the Poseidon theme extensively but could not duplicate the issue.

It sounds like the theme did not implement jQuery according to WordPress standard. That is not the plugin’s fault.
If you are interested in finding a solution to the issues, please open a thread from https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/chatbot/ and we will certainly resolve any issues with the plugin. Before leaving a 1-star review it would be fairer to allow us to address any issue by opening a support thread.
