In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] show 5 star rating onlyHi @stefenzzz,
You can do it in the business version.
The free plugin has [HIDE REVIEW] button below each reviews and you also can hide low-stars, but manually clicked on each.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Easy to set up, but a bit to improveHi @francesco6,
The plugin is absolutely mobile compatible and responsive, if you have any issues there, please send link to your website and debug information and we will investigate the issue.
I hope after fixing you will change the rating to 5 stars 🙂

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Various deprecation notices in PHP 8.2Hi @kittmedia,
Could you send debug information and the screenshot where you see these messages to support[at]richplugins.com, it helps us to reproduce this issue, because we also have PHP 8 on our test servers with debug mode enabled, but didn’t see these warnings.
Thanks!
Hi @konkuba,
Something wrong with a cache plugin or theme, because there’s no mandatory JavaScript asset files loaded and by this reason (js is not starting), the plugin can’t load it correctly for small width.

Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Does it support Schema ?Hi,
This feature was in the business plugin, not in the free, but since it’s limited by Google, we removed this option from the business plugin too.
According to the changes in Sep 2019, Google forbidden a LocalBusiness and Organisation schema type in the Rich Snippets for all sites except a listing/directory-sites (like Yelp or Facebook), according to this it’s not possible to use in the business plugin.
Here is a source:
https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2019/09/making-review-rich-results-more-helpful.html
Also Google disallows using other schema types like Product, Book or Recipe for Google map reviews. Because these types should be described about a specific item, not reviews for a company, service or some business.
However, some other plugins have such a workaround, I mean use a Product schema type for a map reviews, unfortunately, Google can mark the page with this markup like a spammy rating and drop from a search. We can’t take that risk and didn’t add this workaround to our plugin.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Automatic UpdateHi @b2kaibecker,
Yes, to make the reviews automatically update-able, create your own Google API key and save it on the Settings page.
Please read our extremely detailed manual on how to create an API key on the page Google Reviews / Support / Full Installation Guide and save the API key on the Settings page after creating. Then the reviews should be updated in 24 hours.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Create widget by data-pidHi @khryshchuk,
This plugin uses official Google Places API, this is a public API can be used only for Google places which have a physical address. It’s a limitation of Google, not us or the plugin.
So to show the reviews via this plugin you can add physical place to your Google locations, connect it in the plugin and then remove this address, it shows the reviews, but unfortunately, after sometime you may need to do it again to update the reviews.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] how to show more recent reviews?Hi @suryamaya,
Yes, it’s possible you can connect several Google places and merge reviews between these. It’s simple, just connect places by Place ID, see our demo video https://youtu.be/T6mTkDrxtqk

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Responsive widthHi @dvaansiseelr,
These properties are showing only if you enable Style Options / Max width option in the reviews feed widget, in this case yes, the widget is not responsive, but if you clear this option, it will be responsive as well by default.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Reviews not showing on FrontendHi @kadekawa,
I) First of all, please recreate your Google API key because it should not be here, we asked debug information only via email to our support.
II) According to the debug information I see that you were using the plugin previously but skipped some major updates and you need to apply these manually, please do the following:
1. Go to the page: Google Reviews / Settings / Advance
2. Scroll down the page to the end
3. Find the last section: Execute db update manually
4. Type 1.8.6 in the version field and click Submit
5. After page refreshed, type 2.0.1 in the same version field and click Submit again
After that the reviews will be updated in 24 hours.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
