In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Changing the plugin languageHi @emirhankurt,
The plugin is already translated to many languages, please tell me what exactly language do you need and we will check the translation.
The plugin shows all messages on your main WordPress language which on the Settings page in the Site Language field.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Google Places costsHi @simon_a6,
To connect your G reviews and show these on your website you can do without Google API key, the plugin has functionality to initial connection.
But to make the reviews auto-updated you need to create your own G API key and it’s free, because Google gives $200 free credit monthly and it’s enough to connect several G places and make these auto updated.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Undefined property: stdClass::$languageHi @kittmedia,
It’s very strange warning because ‘language’ field is mandatory in the Google Places API response data and must be. Could you send debug information for this website to our support (support[at]richplugins.com) to further investigation?
Thanks!
Hi @moggiex,
Currently, it’s not the option of our plugin. It was before version 2.0, when you can create widget or shortcode for each Place ID (not centrally). It was occur many questions and problems because when you need to change some options you was need to create new widget or shortcode.
Since version 2.0 we introduced widget builder and now you can create single reviews feed which keeps all connections and options. You can install it via widget or shortcode and if you need to modify any parameters you just need to edit this feed.
The parameter place_id in the shortcode just left due a supporting of old versions, please do not use it because it’s not documented and official. In the shortcode you need to use ID like a mandatory parameter and in the future version we will going to add some other parameters which you can see in the widget builder.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Different views from same collection?Hi @jacobfrost,
Yes, correct, you need to create two reviews collections (and shortcodes), the first for a list and the second for a rating badge.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] How to style the outputHi @beeloudglade,
You can override these styles if you are using !important property and more long CSS selectors, for instance:
div.wp-gr .wp-google-powered { color: #fff !important; }
div.wp-gr .wp-google-wr a:hover { background: #fff !important; color: #000 !important; }
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Google Connect not workingFYI, at the moment the plugin is absolutely GDPR compatible, there’s no any external web calls. The plugin saves G user avatars locally.
Thanks!
Hi @nuxrif,
The plugin works without Google API key, you can connect your reviews just a few seconds like on the GIF below:

The API key is needed only for reviews update.
And the API key is free, because Google gives $200 free credits monthly, it’s enough to have several Google places connected with constantly auto updates.
Thanks!
