In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Unable to connect to googleHi @dunksterp,
Recently, Google has disabled the use of Places API for free and introduced mandatory Billing. Unfortunately, since the plugin uses this Places API to show reviews, you need to enable Billing on your Google account. It’s a limitation of Google, not specifically the plugin.
You can enable a Billing here https://console.cloud.google.com/project/_/billing/enable and learn more about it here https://developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started.
Don’t worry, Google is currently giving $200 free credit a month and it should be enough to use the plugin for connecting several Google places without additional fees except this free $200 credits.
If you have any questions please let us know.
Thanks!

Hi @digitaleasyllc,
First of all, try to reinstall the plugin from scratch. Please do the following:
1. Save Google Places API key and your Place ID somewhere except the plugin;
2. Delete all your current widgets and shortcodes where you have connected your Google place(s);
2. Go to the page: Google Reviews / Settings / Advance tab;
3. Click ‘Install from scratch‘;
4. Paste your Google Places API key to the settings;
5. Reconnect your Place ID in the widget and install to your site.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] limit reviewHi @natali1305,
- If you need to choose and show several reviews, please hide other via the [HIDE] button:

2. I don’t quite understand your second question, but if you mean to show a country from where the review was leave, unfortunately, it’s not possible, because Google does not pass information about this, in other words it’s a limitation of Google API, not the plugin.
Thanks!

If you need to hide any or some reviews, you can use a [HIDE] button near an each reviews in the widget’s builder, for instance:

However, if you still need a minimum rating filter, we offer this feature in the business plugin.

Could you send a link to the tool where we can test/check this? I guess it’s something similar a Lighthouse report tool?
Thanks!
Hi @ismartpink,
Could you send debug information from the settings page of the plugin to support[at]richplugins.com?
Also, please send a shortcode, if you are using it.

In reply to: [Reviews Widgets for Google, Yelp & TripAdvisor] Avoid an excessive DOM sizeHi @setsuna16,
First of all, try to reduce the number of requested reviews via the option: Advance Options / Reviews limit, for instance type value 10 there.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Way too many reviews listedHi @galbaras,
Thank you for update.
Yes, starting from the version 2.0 you need to delete all old widgets and shortcode and recreate these in the plugin’s widget builder (the page Google Reviews / Widgets). It keeps all settings independent from which you are using – widget or shortcode.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Way too many reviews listedHi @galbaras,
At the moment I see 6 reviews on the right sidebar before ‘Next Reviews’ button and when I click at this button the next 6 reviews will appear. Please tell me what exactly doesn’t work?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Number of reviews / Average ratingHi @mirkodii,
Yes, we have an issue on some sites which uses a cache or CDN plugins. Currently we prepare a new release with a fix of it.
However, you can update your reviews manually if you create some new (temporary) widget and connect your Google place again, the reviews will be updated.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Way too many reviews listedHi @galbaras,
Please go to wp-admin on the page: Google Reviews / Widgets, find and edit the widget with ID 13195.
At the right section open Common Options and type 5 in the field Pagination.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] WP Hive InsightsHi @prosatya,
Thank you for getting in touch, we do appreciate your time.
I saw a report and will investigate the possibility to retest all red points and validate it on our independent test server. So, first of all, we will need to see and check this all to be sure what can be included to the next release.
Thanks!
