The plugin uses the Google Places API to get your reviews. The API only returns the 5 most helpful reviews. When Google changes the 5 most helpful the plugin will automatically add the new one to your database. Thus slowly building up a database of reviews. It’s a limitation of Google, not specifically the plugin.
The plugin can only download what Google returns in their Places API. It is usually the 5 Most Helpful (not newest) reviews. You can check what the API returns by entering your Place ID and Google API key in this url:
However, if you got new reviews for your Google place, but the plugin does not show these, it means that Google didn’t include it to 5 most helpful and the plugin just can’t get this. It’s a limitation of Google, not the plugin.

However, I cheeked this issue in Safari on our several test iPhones.
If you write some little instruction, how you exclude this on a SiteGround site, it will be really cook for all other users!

The max width option is specially for a list layout and for simple management with a width, I agree with you that it breaks a responsive style in a slider layout and we will think how to fix this misunderstanding.
However, the list and slider layouts are absolutely responsive if they are placed in the responsive parent container on your website, this parent container should not has a static width and all will be responsive. It’s tested on more than 100K websites 🙂
If you still have any troubles with a slider on your responsive website, just send a link where we can see this and we immediately say what’s wrong.
You can disable a write a review button through the option: Common Options / Hide ‘review us on G’ button.

PS: About !important properties, yes, we know it’s a bad practices, but this is the most reliable way to have the same design for most sites, we have tried many methods, but this one is the most reliable, unfortunately it suffers from usability.

You are right. You need to have a free account to add your latest 3 Yelp reviews at the first time. Unfortunately, it’s a limitation of Yelp, not the plugin or us.
Yelp API work only with your own API key which you can create only under a free Yelp account, not a business. Unfortunately, we can’t change or simplify this, because it’s a limitation of Yelp as I said above.
So, to use this plugin, just register a free Yelp account, create the API key and connect/show the reviews on your website. All this information is in the manual of the support page of this page.

Yes, you’re right and we have this task in our issue’s tracker. Currently the plugin shows unrecommended post like 1-star review and recommended like 5-stars. So, when it will be implemented we will make a new release with this feature.
