Yes, you are right. Unfortunately, for public subscribers on Subscribe2, there isn’t an option available to choose specific categories for notifications. With Subscribe2, all categories’ notifications are sent to public subscribers.
ThanksHi @zonebattler ,
We understand the importance of ensuring compatibility with the latest PHP versions for optimal website performance and security. We appreciate your patience during this process as we strive to deliver a seamless and reliable experience for all our users. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us identify and resolve such issues.
In the meantime, if reverting to PHP 7 temporarily solves the problem, we recommend using that as a short-term solution until we release the updated version of Subscribe2.

In reply to: [Subscribe2 - Form, Email Subscribers & Newsletters] Does this work with CPT?Hi @rcwgsy ,
Unfortunately, the current version of the Subscribe2 plugin does not have the capability to send notifications for Custom Post Type updates. It only supports sending notifications for categories and WordPress default post types at this moment.

Hi @acekin ,
Thank you for being a loyal user of our plugin for many years; we truly appreciate your support. We’re sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing while using the current subscribers search feature, and we understand how frustrating it can be.Upon thorough investigation, we have confirmed the issue you reported regarding the email search functionality. It appears that when you paste or manually enter an email address in the search field on the current subscribers tab and click on the “Search” button, the result shows “No items found,” even when the email address is present in the list. Additionally, you mentioned that you used to be able to search for the mail domain name without an ID or the “@” sign, but that functionality is currently not working.
We understand how important this feature is for you, and we want to make sure it works seamlessly, just like it used to. Your feedback has been invaluable in helping us address this problem, and we’re committed to delivering a smooth experience for all our users.
Once the next version of the plugin is released, you can update it to resolve this issue. We anticipate the release to be available very soon, so please keep an eye out for the update notification in your WordPress dashboard.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to providing you with an improved and fully functional plugin in the near future.
Regards,Hi @karol1 ,
Thank you for reaching out with your query about Email Settings in Subscribe2. I understand your concern about the limited option available when changing the “Send Email” preference from “For each Post” to “Every Hour.”Let me assure you that what you’re experiencing is completely normal. When you change the preference to “Every Hour” or any other option besides “For each Post,” the system typically switches to sending periodic summaries of new posts rather than individual email notifications for each post. This behavior is intentional, as sending frequent emails for each post may lead to email overload for subscribers.
I hope this clarifies the situation for you. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Happy WordPressing!Hi @plantierj ,
We appreciate your detailed description of the issue and the screenshot you provided. I have visited your website home page but didn’t find any unwanted floating forms remaining on your website home page. Also, I have tested floating forms on our end and didn’t find such issues on our end.
In that case, Please make sure your weMail plugin is up to date. Please navigate to weMail > Forms > select all forms and trash them This screenshot will help you understand: https://d.pr/i/wTS2Mn Then clear your web browser cache and create a new floating form and try again. Hope it will work.
If you are still facing the same issue or have further questions, please feel free to let us know. We will be happy to assist you further. Thanks
