  • That’s just openAI’s servers being overloaded.

Ahh. I see what happened. I clicked the set as default. When I unchecked it, I now see the longer shortcode. Here’s a dev suggestion. Create an interface where the longer shortcodes can be stored and then shortened to something like [mwai_chat_customer_service] or [mwai_building_designer]. That would make the codes more easily understood and also leverage editing the new shortcodes and seeing those changes across the instances.

I hope everything transitions smoothly. I added the chatbot short code to just one page. Originally, I thought that the shortcode was making the bot appear on the site, but then I went to my homepage and it was there. I then realized the inject into site option was actually causing that.

I turned off the inject option and went back to my test page that only has the [mwai_chat] short code. I don’t see the bot icon. When I first setup the bot, the shortcode was much longer. But all I see now is “[mwai_chat]”. Is that a bug or does your code mask all the other parameters once they are saved?

Ah.. I’m sorry. I didn’t know about WP’s restrictions. Feel free to delete the post, if needed. We can just communicate directly. [email protected]

Ok. I installed 0.3.3 and the issue with Thrive seems to be resolved. Do you have any suspected causes that you might have fixed between the last few versions? I’d like to feel confident that it won’t happen again.

I have just updated to the newest version. I’ll run some tests and see what I can add to the conversation.

Here’s an example response for the prompt “write me a 500 word article about houses. include 3 photos of houses.”:

Houses are a fundamental part of human civilization. They provide shelter, protect us from the elements, and offer a space for us to call home. There are many different types of houses, each with its own unique features and characteristics. Here are three photos of houses to give you an idea of the diversity that exists among homes:

    Traditional House

This traditional house has a classic design with a pitched roof, symmetrical windows, and a front porch. It is made of brick and has a warm, welcoming appearance. Many houses like this one are found in established neighborhoods and have been around for decades or even centuries.

    Modern House

In contrast, this modern house has a sleek, minimalist design with clean lines and large windows. It is made of concrete, glass, and steel and has a contemporary look. Many houses like this one are found in new developments and are built with the latest materials and technologies.

    Victorian House

This Victorian house has a romantic, ornate design with a steep roof, turrets, and gingerbread trim. It is made of wood and has a charming, old-fashioned appearance. Many houses like this one are found in historic districts and have been preserved as a part of the city’s cultural heritage.

Houses come in all shapes and sizes, and they can be found in every corner of the world. Some are small and simple, while others are large and elaborate. Some are made of traditional materials like wood, brick, and stone, while others are made of more modern materials like concrete, glass, and steel. No matter what they look like, houses serve an important purpose in our lives and are a reflection of who we are and how we live.

You are welcome  And sorry about the issue with the timeout.

Set the headings to <H2> rather than <H1>. My SEO app complains about having more than one H1 tag.

Are you sure? I get only <h2> tags right now. In fact, they are currently generated by OpenAI. Have you modified the prompt to create the content? Of course, there are always solutions, and I could add a way to filter the content of the post and we could replace the headings easily.

When I first installed the plugin a couple days ago, it was making H1’s, then after one update, it wasn’t adding any heading tags. Now, with the newest one, it’s making H1’s again.

Create an integration with Yoast so that the meta description can be generated and populated.

The meta description should be the same as the excerpt, or should it be something else? Should I add another textfield for that description, with a button to generate it?

I think the simplest and quickest thing it so make the meta desc and the excerpt the same. Yoast has a separate field for that. I do wish yoast would simply allow linking the meta desc to the excerpt. But there may be other reasons why that wouldn’t be desired.

While you’re at it, add a field for a keyword phrase that is separate from the title.

Those keywords would be used as meta keywords, or to help the AI to understand better what needs to be written?

Yoast has a focus keyword field. Another reason to specify the focus keyword before generation of the content is to avoid overly high keyword stuffing. Yoast seems to think 23 instances of the keyword is the most that google likes to see. If it is possible to have ChatGPT limit the number of times the phrase is used, that would be helpful.

How long until the new version should be published to WP?

A bit more info… Davinci seems to be the issue. When I changed to Curie, it generated some content.

After reading some other posts, I did disable several plugins. Meta slider is working better now. I will need to re-enable some of them and see which one was causing issues.

HI. I think I’m having the same issue. I had my site tech upgrade my php and gd libraries. I’m still having the issue. I’m not sure what’s going on. It’s very frustrating.
