In reply to: [Neve] Footer Shows Copyright 2006-2022 instead of 2006-2025I appreciate the idea, but I’d rather fix the issue instead of adding code to override it.
Any idea where it’s pulling the 2006-2022 from? Thank you!

In reply to: [Website LLMs.txt] Cache Management FeaturesGot it. I cleared the cache just now but don’t know if it did anything (or needed to be done at all) because I could already see my llms txt file in the sitemap beforehand.
But I am curious when new posts get added to the llms txt file. A new post I wrote today isn’t there yet, but a post from yesterday is.
Thank you again for your help, greatly appreciated!

In reply to: [Neve] Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) on Mobile PostThanks Stefan – good to see a CLS of 0. It seems to fluctuate from test to test, but perhaps is due to other issues (maybe font loads, third party stuff, etc.) that result in the theme shifting. I will try to improve other aspects of the page load to avoid any theme-related shifts.

In reply to: [Neve] Where to Edit Author Name Meta on PostsHi Stefan,
I appreciate the code. Maybe the ability to edit this can be a feature in upcoming Neve updates? Thank you again.

In reply to: [Neve] Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) on Mobile PostHi AC,
I appreciate you taking the time to run that report, but these issues happen on individual posts, not the homepage.
As noted in my original message:
“This applies to an individual mobile post and seems to pertain to the featured image, the author/category/date above it, along with the first and second paragraphs of the article.”
So the Lighthouse report has to be for mobile AND for an individual post (not the homepage). That’s where I saw the CLS issues.
Thank you.
Understood. Thank you for your time.
Hi Maybellyne,
I fully understand the logic behind redirecting a one-author blog from a duplicate content standpoint.
But I’m curious if it’s a “best practice” to do so.
For example, have Google or Bing or the other search engines indicated that redirecting author URLs to the homepage is a best practice?
Is there any SEO impact (good or bad) from all the redirects to the homepage?
Lastly, I wonder from a user perspective when they click on an author name if they expect to be routed to an about page not just the homepage.
Thank you again for your help/insight!

In reply to: [Neve] Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) on Mobile PostHi Lucia,
Thank you for taking a look. I should have specified that this is a mobile issue (desktop seems to receive excellent scores). Mobile gets horrible scores. To that end, do I need to enable “mobile cache” on my host even though Neve theme is responsive?
Cheers!
Colin
Perfect! Thanks again for your time and assistance Gijo!
Thinking of giving FlyingPress a whirl. If so, autoptimize should be removed correct?
And if FlyingPress is active, is there a tutorial to add these keywords to ensure they aren’t excluded from any combine/minify in FlyingPress?
Thanks again Gijo!

In reply to: [Neve] Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) on Mobile PostHi Kush, it’s for this site.
Thank you for your help!
Hi Gijo,
I changed the keywords to:
googletagmanager
connect.facebookThat didn’t change anything.
I have Autoptimize, so I added gtm.js to the “exclude scripts,” then unchecked “Minify excluded CSS and JS files?”
GTM continues to show up in speed test as blocking.
I didn’t test FB because there’s no clear .js file to exclude in AO other than maybe fbevents.js.
In any case, neither set up worked as intended.
Thank you for your assistance!

In reply to: [Async JavaScript] How to See It’s Working and If ErrorsAhh, okay. I greatly appreciate your help on this. This plugin may not offer much value then as it seems 3rd party code is the main offender.
Thank you again Frank!
