You will notice that some links load fast and others take a long time to load. You really have to click around the site to notice. My host is trying to fix the problem. Last time I checked with them they installed WP Rocket.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 plugin disappearedThanks for replying.
I removed all of the files that you suggested. When I go to ‘Add Plugin’ I can now see the option to install again. For troubleshooting reasons I have not reinstalled W3.
Unfortunately my site is still loading extremely slow. It takes upwards of 20 seconds to load pages. The strange thing is if I load the home page, then click on another page, click back to the homepage you would think it would load very quickly because that page would be cached into my browser. But, no it doesn’t. It still takes 20+ seconds to load.
Like I said previously my website was recently moved to another hosting provider. The website was loading just fine on the old server but this new server my website has severe performance issues.
The new host suggested that I try using a different caching plugin WP Rocket. The backend suffers from the exact same slowness issues. I am looking for possible answers as to why this is.

In reply to: Images in postsYes I use the image upload function on the blog post editing page. Its automatically resizing the images. I saved them in photohop to be a width of 150 but when i upload it it gets resized to a width of 54.
Am I doing something wrong?

I would also appreciate some tips on this site…It will be a blog/photography site. I need it to be simple and add a gallery for each image. The site will grow to have many images. But I don’t want to have to create a new page for every single image…that is a pain in the arse.
Maybe somebody who has gone down the same route can help guide me?
