Thanks to the support of @mceban this problem is solved.
On the other hand, I want to show the galleries in my album alphabetically. I can’t find a possibility in the Gutenberg block to sort them. Also in an album I can’t sort the galleries. Although the tab mention ‘Select and organize’, there’s nothing to organize but moving galleries by hand.
So how can I show an alphabetically list of galleries in an album?Thanks Mihai, I have opened a ticket.
Miraculously enough, there is some progress. The description under an album that I spent quite a long time working on yesterday is actually correct now. I tried all sorts of things, so I have no idea why it worked out this time.
I activated the ‘hidden settings’ to be able to edit things in the old admin interface as well. I have now adjusted the titles in both interfaces again using the codes “<br/>” and “ ”, but both without result. So why it is correct in that one now is a complete mystery to me.
@mbsharp I don’t have problem with the description under the photos in the Gallery, but with the description of the Gallery when I insert an album.

Thanks for your message, but I can’t do anything with this. What other hidden or deprecated options do I have with this solution? I couldn’t find it.
In the meantime, I can no longer do a number of things that were possible in the old version or at least a lot simpler.For example:
How can I move photos from one gallery to another? I can select them and then click ‘Move to’. Then a window opens with all my galleries, but I have 751 galleries! I have to scroll through them all before I find the right one. There isn’t even a search option!Second example:
I want to move a gallery to an album. That option isn’t even available. Previously, you could just drag and drop them, but that’s no longer possible in this new version. So how can I add a gallery to an album?And there are many more examples of why this is a worthless upgrade. It’s more like a downgrade. Such a shame. And you dare to charge so much for it!
I’ll just go back to the old version until you have a decent solution that matches the features of the previous version.
Fortunately, I was able to downgrade to version 3.59.12 without losing galleries, albums, and so on.
The old version didn’t always work flawlessly, but it was always much better than the new version 4.You’d expect a better plugin for that price.

Thanks for your reaction, but it is already solved.The problem was that I’d added a switch in the bottom left corner to toggle between dark and light display. This would then overlay the photo caption, making it difficult to read.
On the right side of my website, I have a button that takes you to the top of the page. So I couldn’t set this switch there either. However, I’ve since figured out how to move this last button up a few pixels, so that both buttons now appear above each other in the bottom right corner.

The problem seems to have miraculously disappeared. Everything is working properly again, the task scheduler is connected again, and emails were sent as normal today.
So, no further action is required at this time.Can you help me any further?

I did exactly what you wrote and cleared both caches, but unfortunately without result. π
