In reply to: [Classic Editor] Is This Plugin Still Being Maintained? This plugin requires few changes, as its main purpose is to deactivate the Block Editor additions from the WordPress code and activate the components for the Classic Editor that remain in the WordPress core. It often appears as though there are no updates here (simply because updates are rarely necessary). The compatibility flag for WP 7.0 will likely be set soon, once the volunteers working on this and other tasks get around to it.
I already reported this to the developers via GitHub at the end of 2024. The issue was already addressed to resolve the report. A release with this fix is still pending.

In reply to: Critical errorIt could also have happened just for a moment, perhaps while an update was being installed. If it happens again, take a closer look at where the error is coming from and, if necessary, contact the support team for the relevant component (in the example above, that would have been WooCommerce).

In reply to: Critical errorThat seems to be a bug in the WooCommerce plugin. Unfortunately, the output isn’t complete. I can’t reproduce the issue with the current version of WooCommerce (10.7.0).
Did you only receive this via email, but the website works?

In reply to: New comments showing up in non-live site being built with LocalWhere is cPanel running? On your local system or on your external hosting provider’s server? The latter would be perfectly fine. That’s just standard practice there. If you start receiving spam comments there, you’ll need to secure the project against it. You can do this by either disabling the comment feature or using anti-spam or security plugins.
However, if you see something like this on your local system, then your local system isn’t actually local – it’s publicly accessible. That would be a question for your network, not for WordPress or localwp.

In reply to: Users get locked out message after 2FA enabled in WordfenceI would recommend that you post your question on the Wordfence support forum: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/wordfence/

In reply to: Il mio blog non si apre onlineYour question refers to a website hosted at wordpress.COM. However, you are here in the forum of ww.wp.xz.cn. The difference is explained here, for example:
What’s the difference between ww.wp.xz.cn and WordPress.com?
Please contact the support of wordpress.COM with your request: https://wordpress.com/support/

In reply to: vertical alignmentYou’re referring to the vertical alignment of buttons. When you select one of the options, the buttons are aligned vertically. This is also described in the block’s documentation: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/documentation/article/buttons-block/#block-toolbar-for-entire-block
There are several ways to back up websites. The easiest option for you is to have your hosting provider handle it for you. Many hosting providers already do this automatically. Contact your hosting provider’s support team if you have any questions.
Otherwise, there are a wide variety of plugins available for WordPress that allow you to back up your site: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/tags/backup/

In reply to: New comments showing up in non-live site being built with LocalThat does sound strange. The only plausible explanation would be synchronization with the project on the live domain. WordPress itself doesn’t have that capability, so it must be happening through a tool you’re using.
I’m guessing you mean localwp. If you suspect that’s the case, reach out to their community here: https://community.localwp.com/
If you’re using other plugins, check those as well. Synchronization must be set up somewhere.
Great that it worked out. Since I’m not familiar with your project, I’m afraid I can’t really comment on it. There isn’t a mechanism that just switches this settings like that. It could happen due to updates or some kind of error. Make sure to back up your project regularly and check whether updates have any impact going forward.
So, you go to the backend and see both all the content and the plugins you’re using there?
I found a page under
/home/that was built with Elementor but also has Block Editor content. Is that the homepage you’re referring to?If so, check under Settings > Reading to see what’s set as the homepage there. You may just need to change it to “Static homepage” and then select “Home”.

In reply to: Unable to log into front pageTo help you, we’d need a little more information from you about the problem. It seems the website is accessible. The backend also appears to be accessible via
/wp-login.php.What exactly is causing the issue for you? Do you see an error message, and if so, what does it say? You’re also welcome to share screenshots; see: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/forum-user-guide/block-editor/#adding-screenshots
Note: If you’re looking for immediate support, find someone who can help you with that. You can find someone like that here, for example: https://jobs.wordpress.net – this forum is designed to help you help yourself, and only volunteers are present here; see also the guidelines.

In reply to: sprungmarken/anker in der Adresszeile des Browsers entfernenI recommend getting in touch with Divi’s support about this via https://divi.help or https://www.elegantthemes.com/contact/ – as this is a commercial plugin/theme they cannot help you here with it.

In reply to: Website and wp-admin show critical errorYou may have run into a bug that recently appeared in the Shortcodes Ultimate plugin. Many users there are reporting exactly the same issue you’re experiencing.
Solutions:
- Update Shortcodes Ultimate to the latest version (as far as I know, 7.5.3).
- Or delete Shortcodes Ultimate if possible. In any case, this can be done via FTP, but you’ll need access to your hosting account to do so.
If you have any questions, contact their support forum: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/shortcodes-ultimate/
