What do you mean by pagebuilder? And what is an asset cleanup/plugin organizer?

Also, check the post above and see if I have made any mistakes in my selections. I think the post I submitted about that is “reviewed by a moderator” or something

Also let me now the best way to cut down on Javascript code in your mind

Not sure if I can cut down more on my plugins now. I don’t have that many either I think. Also, these options below are the options I have enabled in Autoptimize. And below it I have included what I have enabled in WP Fastest Cache. Let me know if I should pick or deselect something more/less. And if there are any options that crosscut each other in these two plugins, in my selected options:

    Selected options, in Autoptimize:

    Optimize JavaScript Code?

    Aggregate JS-files?

    Optimize CSS Code?

    Aggregate CSS-files?

    Also aggregate inline CSS?

    Optimize HTML Code?

Save aggregated script/css as static files?

Minify excluded CSS and JS files?

    Enable 404 fallbacks?

Also optimize for logged in editors/ administrators?

    Optimize Images

    Image Optimization quality(Lossless)

Load WebP or AVIF in supported browsers?

    Lazy-load images?

    In WP Fastest cache:

    Cache System

    Preload

Clear cache files when a post or page is published

Clear cache files when a post or page is updated

(GZIP) Reduce the size of files sent from your server

Browser Caching: Reduce page load times for repeat visitors

Hi again. I think I will check up on this now again. Haven’t had the time, because it was such a headache the last time I was doing it 🙂 .

Any idea on how I could cut down my Javascript as you say? And could you elaborate on the changes that were made to page speed insights?

It seems like some of the suggestions, from page speed insights, incudes loading fonts faster or something. Catamaran bold or something. And “font-awesome”. And fonts.google.apis. But I have no idea how to fix these things(?)

I am up to about 70-80 now again, at Page Speed. Because of some image optimizing I’ve been doing. But I want to get back to lightning speed again 🙂

Also, should I change the inputs somehow after updating my images into SVGs?

It is fixed now. It was somehting with the DNS server at the hosting. Thanks

Steven, I did disable that plugin. But it did not work. Any other ideas?

Diabolo, what is Modsec? I don’t think I have that one.

I have talked to the Hosting. But they say the issue is not at their end.

Hmm how can I look that up? I have Mac but I am not sure where to look for security on the computer.

Hi. I am using one called 2FAS Light. That is the only one as far as I know.

I also ave one for anti-spam called: Akismet Anti-Spam.

    (@valetrends)

Hmm I did not find it. Maybe looking at the wrong spot.

But what I’ve found is that probably only way to edit this is in one of the PHP-files. But I am not sure if that is correct. I don’t know how to change letters inside of a single word using PHP though. So I have left this problem for the future when I get time over to investigate it deeply

    Yeah

But in Customize I can only change the CSS it seems. And for what I want to achieve I need to first change the HTML of the homepage/main page. And I don’t know where to do that.

    Thread Starter Sitebuilder

    (@valetrends)

    Hmm ok

    How can I solve that?

    Thread Starter Sitebuilder

    (@valetrends)

Yes I have tried that now. You can go and check my site right now. And then you can see how it looks when I check that box compared to previously. It gets totally wrecked when I do that as can be seen.

Any idea how to solve this? Maybe you could make some kind of compatibility with that theme or something in the next update?

The thing is I never had issues like this before with Autoptimize. It happened when I updated my theme. I have had the same theme all the time before and never had issued like this before.

    Hi again

I have recently updated my theme. When I updated the theme my site’s design was wrecked.

I finally came to the conclusion that it was the alternative, under “CSS Options”, that says “Aggregate CSS-files”, that made the site’s design break down. So when I pick this alternative, after the update of my theme, the whole design of the Site gets wrecked. But when this alternative is unchecked the site is visible again in its right look.

The thing is that if I don’t pick this alternative the site seems to get A LOT slower. So I would appreciate if someone could help me solve this issue. Because I want the site to be lightning fast but at the same time have its proper look. And work in all browsers.

Seems like when I uncheck this alternative the speed of the site goes from 90-95 down to like 50-60, on page speed insights. So I would much appreciate a solution to this issue.

I want to check this alternative but not the design of the site to break down.

    (@valetrends)

OK what are the potential downsides? 🙂 I guess there is a risk reward here:)

    Thread Starter Sitebuilder

    (@valetrends)

    I see 🙂

Also, there is an alternative called “Also aggregate inline JS?: Let Autoptimize also extract JS from the HTML. Warning: this can make Autoptimize’s cache size grow quickly, so only enable this if you know what you’re doing.”

Sounds dangerous 🙂 What happens when you check that box? Would it speed it up even further or not?
