@alfy40 Interesting…. I wasn’t aware of the opt-in process until now.
Your solution makes sense but it’s not something we can include in the plugin for future updates since the process ID is unique to your account 🤔
This is something we could consider adding as an option as part of the setup…. something like “Please select a Default Opt-In Process for new contacts”. But as I’m sure you can understand, we prioritize requests from paying customers.
I’ve gone ahead and added the request for you at https://wpfusion.com/feature-requests/klick-tipp-opt-in-process/. You can comment on it and you’ll be subscribed to updates.
If you do end up purchasing a license (https://wpfusion.com/pricing/), drop us a line at https://wpfusion.com/contact/ and we’d be happy to prioritize the request 🙂
Best
JackThanks @juliandickie !! 🤩
Thanks @kevineos !! 😊
“No contact ID for user. Failed to apply tag(s)” means that WP Fusion tried to apply tags to a user, but they don’t have a contact record in ActiveCampaign, so it failed.
If you want every user on your site to have an AC contact record, you can run a one-time Export Users operation from the Advanced settings tab: https://wpfusion.com/documentation/tutorials/batch-operations/#export-users
In that case it’s also possible the user is being initially inserted with no role 🤔.
Can you clear out the Limit User Roles setting entirely? That will let all users sync to the CRM, regardless of role.
@robertad92 this probably means that whatever plugin you’re using to register the users is inserting them with a default role first, like “subscriber”, and then updating the role in the next step.
If Subscriber isn’t enabled for sync with WP Fusion, then the contact won’t get created in ActiveCampaign, since this was the user’s role at the time of signup.
To fix that, just enable Subscriber (or any other potential default roles) for sync from Settings >> WP Fusion >> Advanced >> Limit User Roles.
Ah, ok, I see what’s going on.
Normally when a user registers we check MailerLite to see if it’s a new or existing subscriber.
If it’s a new subscriber, you will see:
Info — No contact found in MailerLite for [email protected]In this case it is not handling the error message correctly and it is recording it as a serious error, instead of just an “Info” message.
This is ok, it won’t affect the functionality, but we will fix that for the next update. Thanks for letting us know! 🙂
Hey @albertschwenter ,
“User registration not synced to MailerLite because email address wasn’t detected in the submitted data.” means that WP Fusion couldn’t find an email address for the new user.
How are your users registering?
Can you go to Users >> Add New and add a user that way, and see if it syncs?
Also, these logs you have just shared are from the new Mailerlite, correct? What do the logs show on the site connected to the old Mailerlite?
Thanks
JackIt’s entirely possible that Mailchimp for WooCommerce is causing the problem.
I’m only testing with just WP Fusion active, as that’s the only thing we can guarantee works. We can’t guarantee compatibility with any other plugins in the free version.
If you’d like to purchase a WP Fusion license (https://wpfusion.com/pricing/), then we’d be happy to check out the issue on your individual site, and in your Mailchimp account if necessary.
If there is a conflict with Mailchimp for WooCommerce, we can work on a fix. But we can’t provide that level of support for the free plugin, as I’m sure you understand.
We are using a free Mailchimp account for testing 👍
Hey @jaroslawistok ,
I don’t mean to argue with you, I just want to be clear in case other users read this thread: There is no limitation that we’ve ever encountered with syncing marketable subscribers to Mailchimp via WP Fusion ✅
I recorded a demo for you just now using the Add New User screen: https://i.wpfusion.com/14OIs8
The subscriber is marketable.
I know from your previous thread that this isn’t working for you, and I can relate that it’s frustrating, but the issue is coming from either a setting in Mailchimp (maybe even a limitation on your Mailchimp account?), or another plugin.
Our customers use WP Fusion with MemberPress, Gravity Forms, Restrict Content Pro, Paid Memberships Pro, and dozens of other ecommerce and membership plugins (https://wpfusion.com/documentation/#integrations) besides WooCommerce, and the subscribers are always synced as marketable.
I just checked and WP Fusion is currently running on 1,275 sites connected to Mailchimp. We would have a big big problem if none of the subscribers were Marketable 😅
Thanks
JackHey @jaroslawistok ,
Ah, I remember now your earlier thread.
As I mentioned then, there is no problem with WP Fusion and marketing rights. It’s not blacklisted 👍
We have *hundreds* of customers using WP Fusion to sync marketable subscribers into Mailchimp.
As proof, I have recorded a screen recording showing a new WooCommerce customer being synced to Mailchimp as marketable by WP Fusion: https://i.wpfusion.com/REO1ct
In your case, you either have something configured incorrectly in Mailchimp, or you are using another plugin to sync the contacts with Mailchimp.
FYI, if another plugin creates the subscriber in Mailchimp as unmarketable, WP Fusion will *not* update their status to marketable. You need to make sure WP Fusion creates the subscriber first.
But, as you can see in the video, there is no blacklist and no issue with WP Fusion creating subscribers with marketing rights ✅
I hope that helps to clarify things. If you find out where the conflict was coming from, please post back here so it can help other users who might have the same problem 🙏
That’s a good idea. We have actually had this requested before, but I didn’t realize hosts were blocking Basic authorization requests. Did you ask them if they could put in an exception?
We have an open feature request at https://wpfusion.com/feature-requests/mautic-oauth-support/. If you leave a comment on it it will subscribe you to updates.
Thanks for following up!
Hey @vinifrozi , did you manage to get this working?
If you found the solution, it’d be helpful to share it here in case anyone else runs into the same issue. Thanks!
Hey @jaroslawistok ,
Our plugin isn’t blacklisted by Mailchimp, but it’s created by us, not Mailchimp… so Mailchimp won’t provide support.
If you need any support with WP Fusion, we are happy to help you here 🙂
If you need support with WooCommerce, you can find it at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce/
Cheers
JackHi @vinifrozi ,
There is no issue with connecting to Mautic on the same hosting. You can see here we have connected to mautic.verygoodplugins.com from verygoodplugins.com https://i.wpfusion.com/gcBtVv
Since it is working from another site, that means you have properly enabled the API in Mautic. I also see the API working at https://nerkt.storygeek.com.br/api/contacts.
There must be something in your hosting that is blocking the connection between the sites (maybe an .htaccess rule, security rule, or caching).
You should contact your hosting company to see if they can figure out what might block a connection between your main site and a subdomain.
