In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] Update plugin created bogus messageIt sounds like you updated core and then checked the site in firefox
In firefox, you could not view the site so you tried chrome and the site loaded ok
You then tried again on firefox and it worked.
This could be due to a conflict with your security conflict or issues with your cache
If you experience this issue again, it would be worth clearing your cookies and cache?
Have you recently updated firefox?
Hi,
It looks like your Cron Jobs are all running normally now.
You have an issue with your site scheduler.
Can yoU add the following the wp-config:
define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true);
After 48 hours can you take another screenshot of your site scheduler (like you did before using the WP Crontrol?)

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] Kadence Blocks pro does not auto updateChanging the time that the cron event using the free plugin WPCrontrol can sometimes help in these situations.
I am glad to hear the restore went well. For this you would need to restore just the DB (the user and user_meta tables specifically)
The issue is with our development team, if you keep an eye on our change logs, you should be able to see when a fix is released
Our development team are already working on this. In the meantime, disabling the merging should help
This kind of behaviour is normally associated with extra schedules in the options table. We see this often in multi sites in particular (I realise yours is not a multi site). If needs be I can give you sql statement or instructions on how to remove it (it sounds like it’s resolved anyway now).

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] Kadence Blocks pro does not auto updateFor me the plugin did update automatically: https://prnt.sc/4PXXVswmeXG9 so it’s still a bit of a mystery. I will keep carry on testing and I will update you with my findings.
Hi
The errors are a result of the merging. If your site supports http2, please disable merging for JS and CSS but leave minify active.
For example it looks like the files for your aioseo plugin cannot be merged. Some plugins just don’t do well with this. As it happens, you do not need to merge so the solution is just to deactivate the option. The other option (if your site did not support http2) would be to exclude the relevant scripts from processing.
Your JS should look like this;

Then, please do the same for the CSS as well
It’s difficult to say why the caching plugins. Object caching and browser caching are very different mechanisms. They work in very different ways. I suspect they were targeted as pretty much every website has at least one caching plugin and this can be seen in the headers of any website.
My advice would be to try Cloudflare (you can use this with WPO if you like). It would hide this information. It works really well as a first line of defence. We use it on all of our sites. There is a free tier. We are in no way affiliated with Clouflare, I just think it’s an excellent service!

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] UselessHi,
I would urge you to install the free plugin WP Crontrol and check if any of your cron events are overdue. I think your site scheduler might not be working. This will affect other plugins and things like your scheduled posts so it is quite important that you check this.
If you do see overdue events, please start a support thread. We can help you with this.
