I just tried to replicate that problem and was not able to unfortunately. This most likely means that your site has some other security configurations that might be interfering with WP Rollback’s ability to communicate with ww.wp.xz.cn successfully.
Have you tested rolling back other themes or plugins at all?
Can you tell me more about your environment and any other plugins you have installed that might interact with how plugins/themes are updated or managed?
Glad to hear it, thanks for the update!
It’s possible that the way you’ve blocked plugin updates with the FTP user/password is preventing Rollback from communicating correctly with ww.wp.xz.cn — Can you explain how you’ve implemented that on your site? We can then test for that and see if there’s a workaround for it.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Rollback - Rollback Plugins and Themes] How do I use this? Thanks for that info Patrick. That is really odd. Is it possible you have any plugins that interact with how you install/manage plugins? Besides WP Rollback and WP Downgrade?
Also, do you have custom user roles at all? Are you certain that the user role that you’re logged in as, has the ability to update plugins? Maybe you have the ability to update plugins restricted by FTP credentials, or you have some other security that is preventing the update of plugins directly on the site?
If you’re running WP 5.2+ you can now go to “Tools > Site Health” then the “Info” tab and click on “Copy Site Info to Clipboard” and provide us your full system info so we can better understand your whole environment. The more we understand your environment, the better we can help.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Rollback - Rollback Plugins and Themes] How do I use this?Hi there! If you go to “Plugins” you’ll see a “Rollback” link on each individual plugin now. The Themes option is in the modal popup when you view the Theme details.
Here’s more full docs:

CAn you provide your System Info here for us? Go to “Donations > Tools > System Info”
A common problem with Gravatar is that you add an email address, and you upload a profile pic, but there’s a THIRD step: Associate the profile pic with the email address.
Can you confirm you’ve done that in your Gravatar account?
After you confirm, make sure you clear any and all caching you are using on your website.
Let us know, thanks!
Latest ZIP resolved the Gutenberg issue; but I’m back to not getting any webhooks to be triggered. Neither CPT nor standard Posts. Also enabled Debugging and nothing shows up there at all (with WP_DEBUG, and WP_DEBUG_LOG both set to true).
I pinged you in WP Slack if that’s quicker/easier.
Yes. WP 5.1.4 with only a couple other plugins installed. The current live version of Notifications works just fine, but the dev version you provided above is what triggered that problem.
Here’s a screencast of it:
http://somup.com/cqh6Fdnz5oDev version is doing all kinds of strange things. AFter I saved the new notification, it loads the CPT in Gutenberg.
See here:

I think this might be my issue here:

Here’s another vote for raw JSON input. Looking forward to that release!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] One button launch adjustYou want the “button” mode in the
[give_form]shorcode. See the docs here on that:
https://givewp.com/documentation/core/shortcodes/give_form/With “button” mode, the form should open in a modal window, not a table on it own.
If you can provide a link to your site where that behavior is happening maybe I can have more insight into the problem. Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Database updateHI there,
That can happen for a wide variety of reasons. We wrote this doc to help troubleshoot those issues. Can you walk through those steps carefully and let me know the results of your findings based on this article?
