Sidenote, here’s some CSS to fix your currency symbol indicator (your theme is forcing a minimum height on all inputs, which is a greedy CSS rule IMHO):
form[id*=give-form] .give-donation-amount .give-currency-symbol { min-height: 40px; }Add that to the bottom of your theme’s styles.css file; or go to “Appearance > Customize > Custom CSS” and add it to the bottom of that setting. For more detailed info on adding custom CSS, see here: https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/handling-custom-css-in-wordpress/

Looks like there’s an ADDITIONAL caching plugin called “Breeze-minification”. Please clear that cache and deactivate that plugin for now. Having multiple caching solutions that do the same job can in fact be very problematic for your website.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Shortcode not workingHi there,
I can tell you that all our shortcodes work as intended, so this isn’t an issue with the shortcode itself. I asked a couple questions and still need your feedback on them:
1. Can you provide the full shortcode that you are using? That will help me understand more about how you’ve configured them, which is something I cannot do from the frontend of your site.
2. You have a theme which is customizing our form markup — have you reached out to the theme author for support? It’s possible the theme is intefering with the shortcode somehow.
Additionally, perhaps there’s a plugin conflict of some sort. I’d suggest using the Health Check plugin to troubleshoot that. It will allow you to deactivate all plugins and put your site on a default theme ONLY for yourself — your live visitors will not see that. We have a write-up on that here:
https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/troubleshoot-wordpress-websites-health-check/Then you can enable plugins one at a time and test again until you see the problem again. Then let me know which plugin caused the conflict and I can take a closer look at replicating the issue for you.
Thanks!
Hi there,
We have many hundreds of users using Give with WP Rocket — so this is not necessarily a “bug” but something unique in your environment.
I would make sure that you first ensure that you’ve cleared your WP Rocket cache completely. It’s possible there is a JS error that is stored in the cache.
Next, I would keep WP Rocket activated, but deactivate the Javascript concatenation and/or minification and then provide me with the URL of your form where you are experiencing that problem. That will let me see which of your existing plugin JS files is creating a conflict and we can figure it out from there.
Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Shortcode not workingHi there,
I see some custom markup in the Give form, I believe that’s done via your Goodwish theme. This might be a theme customization issue.
But can you provide the full shortcodes that you are using here?
Also occassionally, the shortcode gets inserted into the editor with stray markup. Please switch to Text Mode or Code View and make sure the quotation marks are straight, and there’s no stray markup inside the shortcode at all.
Thanks!
1. That’s a good point about the category ids. That’s not currently possible, but I think that’s a good feature request and I’ll create an issue on that now.
2. Regarding your import/export, what method are you using for that exactly? Just the default WordPress export? Or our Give tools? Please clarify a bit.
Glad to hear we were able to help, Tony.
If you’re enjoying Give and appreciate our support, we’d love a kind review from you here:

Hi there,
All your questions revolve around one or more of our paid add-ons (for example Manual Donations are perfect for adding offline donations via the admin). The moderators of this forum require that all inquiries about paid products happen elsewhere. Therefore, we have to ask you to please use our Priority Support page for your inquiry and we’ll get back to you very soon:
https://givewp.com/priority-supportThanks!
Hmmm… I can’t replicate that problem. See here:

Is it possible the copy of the plugin you have locally is forked somehow or changed in the plugin header?
Also, I noticed this is using Freemius. I tested this both while opting-in and opting-out of Freemius, so that doesn’t seem related either.
WP Rollback is only able to rollback plugins and themes that are hosted on WP.org. Doing a quick search I don’t see Buttonizer available:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/search/Buttonizer/This is because ww.wp.xz.cn hosts all previous versions of the plugins on SVN. But premium plugins/themes have their own unique system that we can’t predict or control.
Let me know if you have additional questions at all.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Rollback - Rollback Plugins and Themes] Easy to use!Awesome! Great to hear. Thanks for the kind review!
Hi Alex,
That’s very perplexing. I can assure you though that WP Rollback is about as light-weight of a plugin as it comes. It doesn’t actually run anything until you click the Rollback button, so — as you mentioned — most likely something else is interfering.
Do you have a local copy of your site, or a live staging environment where you can deactivate all plugins safely? The free Health Check plugin is helpful if you HAVE to test on a live site: https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/troubleshoot-wordpress-websites-health-check/
My guess at this point is that it’s 99% certainly a plugin conflict of some sort. If you can eliminate the potential causes with some plugin deactivating that would help a lot.
Thanks!
