Hi there,
I just tested this on our demo site and it appears to work exactly as intended. See here:
https://demo.givewp.com/form-grid-modal-reveal-example/That
iFramSizeris a javascript library that we use. It’s possible another plugin is implementing the identical library and that’s creating a conflict. Do you have popup plugins on your site, or a lightbox plugin or something similar that you suspect might use a library like that? You might start by temporarily deactivating those plugins to test and confirm. If that doesn’t help I’d suggest more intense plugin troubleshooting. We have a detailed guide on how you can do that safely on a live site — a staging site or local duplicate would be safest though. Review this here:
https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/troubleshoot-wordpress-websites-health-check/If you discover what is causing the conflict, let us know so we can dig into it and look for a potential workaround.
Thanks!
HI there,
I explored your site a bit and see the problems exactly as you described them.
PROBLEM #1
When I click on the button at the bottom of the page, I’m experiencing theabout:blank#blockederror that you mentioned.SOLUTION #1:
Put the full URL of your form as the Destination URL. From looking at your site, I believe this is the Full URL that you need:
https://cincinnatifriends.org/donations/cincinnati_friends_meetingThe shortcode cannot work as a URL.
PROBLEM #2:
When I click on the “Donate” link at the top-right of the homepage, it takes me tohttps://cincinnatifriends.org/donate— but that is not a page at all.SOLUTION #2:
I suggest you also update that link to be the same as above:
https://cincinnatifriends.org/donations/cincinnati_friends_meetingOnce you get both of those resolved you should be all set.
Best of success in your end of year fundraising!
Hi @monicamontana89 — Yes! You can connect to Stripe for free. Just click on the blue “Connect to Stripe” button on that page. When you click on that it will ask you to login to your Stripe account and authorize GiveWP to connect. This means you don’t have to use API keys at all.
You can see our detailed docs on that here:
https://givewp.com/documentation/core/payment-gateways/stripe-free/Thanks, and best of success to you in this end of year giving season!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Halts bulk uninstallThanks for reporting that, I was able to replicate it exactly as you described. I entered it into our feedback system here:
https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/givewp-prevents-bulk-uninstallIn my testing, GiveWP does actually delete, but it prevents the Bulk action from continuing. So if you refresh the page, you can run the rest of the bulk deletions after that.
The other workaround for now is that you can delete the plugin individually.
We’ll look into it though. Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] GiveWP 2.7.3Hi @sebastienserre That fix will be released in GiveWP 2.9.6. Thanks!
Hmmm… very strange.
One thing I’d recommend first is to deactivate all the Cloudflare minification and caching for now. I see some errors related to their scripts.
If you have other WordPress plugins that provide minification or caching, deactivate those as well.
Hi there,
It seems you’ve dug deep into troubleshooting this. When I look at your Test Form, it appears that Stripe isn’t connected there correctly though. Mostly because in the console I can see that there’s a 400 error related to all the Stripe assests.
Is this a multi-site install? I noticed the
/ensub-folder. It’s possible that the assets can’t load correctly because they are registered with the root domain, but you’re working with them from a child-site.Can you tell me a little bit about where exactly GiveWP is installed, and whether this is a child-site or some other unique type of installation?
Thanks!
Hi there,
We can help you best if you provide us with the code you’re attempting to use. Paste a link here to a Gist or similar and we’ll take a look.
Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] styling elementor widgetHI there,
Yes, you are correct. The Elementor addon simply helps make all the GiveWP shortcodes easier to implement and configure in a very Elementor-manner. But it does not yet leverage other Elementor style features which are highly complex when interacting with markup that it does not directly control.
In terms of customizing the multi-step forms, you’ll need to enqueue a new stylesheet into our forms. We have a snippet just for that purpose for you:
https://github.com/impress-org/givewp-snippet-library/blob/master/form-customizations/css-customizations/multi-step-enqueue-css.phpFrom there you can do whatever custom CSS you’d like.
Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Multiple selectionWe currently support this via an addon called Funds and Designations. You can learn all about that here:
https://givewp.com/addons/funds-and-designations/Thank you!
We’re addressing these concerns via the Feedback link Matheus provided above, and also on this thread:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/paypal-donations-dont-work/So closing this one again for now.
Hi there,
Your situation is certainly frustrating, and we understand that. What Matheus said in this other ticket that you commented on, is that this is a situation with PayPal itself. it’s not something unique or specific to GiveWP or to our integration with PayPal.
We are working directly with PayPal to help them see situations exactly like yours so they can resolve this on their end.
Again, we are doing everything we can to help resolve this situation by communicating directly with PayPal, which is where the source of this issue is.
For the time being, you can continue accepting donations with “PayPal Standard”.
Let me know if you have additional questions at all.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Problems with IphoneHi Marco,
These types of issues typically are related to your theme, but we can help you best if we can get a live link to the page where you see the problem. Without seeing the problem we can’t speak to it much.
Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Elementor compatibilityHi there,
We actually have a dedicated free add-on for Elementor that should help resolve all those issues. Please install and try this out:
