Is there specific advice you can offer a hosting service as a solution or workaround?
Is there a change needed to WordPress to avoid this problem?At this time, only Updraft Plus fails in this way.

However, it’s disconcerting that a backup plugin has such a problem.
I count on Updraft Plus to perform reliable backups and function properly.
If this update problem can’t be resolved, it’s time to look for another backup plugin.Right now, I can’t confidently recommend Updraft Plus to my clients.

My WordPress sites are hosted on 1and1.com.Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?
