I am in touch with hosting support and they did some additional testing to verify what I am experiencing.
I was incorrect, the site was running PHP 5.3. It was updated to 5.4 and 5.5 in order to test – the issue however remained.
The hosting company responded that they “tried disabling/enabling the plugins one by one – no change what so ever. There were no errors on the server’s error log, nor in cPanel – [they] also enabled the PHP reporting for the WordPress itself – but to no avail. The template’s preview can not be displayed and it just loads.”
They verified that with a default theme template it’s loading without any issues., so the error is obviously with the (Make) template itself.
They wanted me to double-check to see if there are other minimum requirements besides the PHP version, memory_limit for example, max_execution_timeout, etc?
The only minimum req I found in documentation is WP 4.0.

When I go to Customizer it doesn’t load in options on the left, and just a white screen for preview; then browser stops responding and I get “Unresponsive script – A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

FirefoxWhen I look at debug in Inspector, the closest guess is there is an issue with loading-script.php, but not sure which one, I guess there are a few in this group. (You have to excuse my ignorance in this area, I understand what they do, but that’s about it.)
I know it’s not a plugin issue because I deactivated all for a few minutes and the issue persisted.
Then (while they were still deactivated) I switched to TwentyFifteen and Customizer loaded with no issues.
While clicking around in inspector, I must’ve disabled a script because after a few it finally loaded the Customizer options panel on he left, but preview area was still white. Had same issue when I initially set the theme up as well.
I guess I can work around issue if I am patient but it would be good to figure out what is going on and how to resolve.
Otherwise, great theme overall!

In reply to: [NextGEN Facebook] sharing issue – tumblrI can’t seem to duplicate issue, but site owner says that on Chrome he isn’t able to add a FB comment when he “Likes” a post. I was able to when I tested on mine. Do you think its something he may have disabled in his browser preventing him from adding a comment to a post?
I really appreciate your help with all these little things 🙂

If I am not logged into FB, the small pop-up to login appears. But if I am logged-in, when I click “Like” or “Send” a pop-up blinks then is gone and nothing posts or happens.
Problem resolved!

btw, love the share bar also. One small request for future was to add Reddit and maybe Digg. Either way, it’s an excellent plugin, am going to look into pro version in the future once we complete what we been working on.

In reply to: [NextGEN Facebook] Shared title and descriptionI really really appreciate your help, you provide amazing support. The issue is still not resolved for some reason. Its definitely AIOSEO because as soon as I disable it the problem goes away.
I have 2 options:
1) contact them to have them troubleshoot and try to fix on their end, but I worry how long this would take.2) switch to Yoast.. but he has been using AIOSEO for over 4 years and I worry the metadata wont convert properly… alot of stored posts.
Any additional suggestions?
Honestly, I truly appreciate your attention in resolving this. If you think upgrading would be smart to gain more control over this issue I would definitely consider it.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [NextGEN Facebook] Shared title and descriptionThat was the weirdest thing. I ended up deleting the images from media library.. have no clue when they were from. Thank you so much for your help with this !!!!
But the titles are still not showing with separator. I changed the value to a – (dash) and same results.
I am out of ideas beyond another plugin being incompatible.

I am going to do some plugin compatibility troubleshooting this evening and will post back if I find something with a particular plugin. Any ideas on a plugin that might not be playing well and blocking the settings from your plugin for default image and separator?
Do you think the pro version would fix this issue?

And now its pulling the banner image instead of the one we set.
