Hi,
I am using OceanWP theme.
Best regards,
Hi,
What I feared has happened: the problem has just happened again… Regarding the other extensions and the theme, deactivating them does not change anything.
Do you have another solution?Regards
Hi,
Thank you for your quick reply. I confirm that all my versions of WordPress, Elementor and my theme were up to date.
I followed your instructions and regenerated the CSS and data. As in my previous tests, this solved the hover animation problem on my links. However, the CSS printing method was set to “External file”, so I switched it to “Internal embedding” to respect your recommendations. I also cleared all my plugins and browser caches as requested.
Here, I hope that having changed the CSS printing method will definitely solve the bug, if not I will keep you informed. Please don’t close this thread until I see how things are going.Best regards
Hi,
Indeed, I had deactivated all experiments as advised by Elementor support and everything was working normally… until today.
Do not hesitate to refer to the subject “Vertical shift while hovering over links” to have the history of the tests carried out.Regards

In reply to: [OceanWP] Title background image changeHello Shahin,
You saw it right!! I don’t remember why, but I had set a background image on the “Contact us” page in the OceanWP settings (the same as the one set in the customizer), which made any change of image from the customizer ineffective… You are definitely very perceptive 🙂
Thanks a lot for your help !Best regards

In reply to: [OceanWP] Title background image changeHello Shahin,
For you to better understand, I send you the links to the screenshots of my site for each action performed:
1. Page customization screen before changing the title background image :

2. Page personalization screen after selection of another background image: the new image is not taken into account :

3. After a hard refresh of the page (Ctrl + F5 on Firefox), the modification is still not taken into account :

4. By loading another page, the new title background image is however taken into account :

I was wondering if the problem was due to the original image being “attached” to the page in WordPress media… What do you think?Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,

In reply to: [OceanWP] Title background image changeHello Shahin,

To which address should I send you the screenshots with the online services you refer to, please?
Thanks in advance.Regards
Hi,
Thank you for your answer, but the problem is not really solved since I still don’t know what caused the bug.
Should I keep all experiments permanently deactivated? Is this penalizing for my site?Regards
Hi,
At this time, all links are working properly with all experiments deactivated.
As the bug appeared intermittently when the experiments were set to default, the bug may also appear intermittently if one of the experiments causes the bug and I activate it run do the test. In this case it will be difficult to identify the culprit…Regards

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Compatibility with wordpress 6.0.1Hi Pawel,
Noted, thank you very much! Indeed, it is better to specify that this version of your plugin is compatible with that of WordPress, otherwise users may hesitate to update it.

Hi,
I activated each experiment one by one, and none of them caused the malfunction on the links. It’s still so incomprehensible…
What do you advise me to do now?Regards
Hi,
I thank you for your feedback. I’ll run the tests tomorrow, but in the meantime, I mainly wanted to know if deactivating the experiments had any impact, or if it was better to keep them.
If deactivating them isn’t a problem, maybe it’s better that I leave them deactivated so that I don’t have any problems? What do you think ?Regards
Hi,
The problem with the links reappeared this morning. So I went to Elementor > Settings > Experiences and deactivate all of them.
When I reloaded my site, I noticed that all the links were working properly again. I guess the bug came from those experiments that were activated, but I could only be sure if the problem didn’t occur again at all. What are the consequences of deactivating all experiences on my site? Will this have any visible effects?
Regards
Hi,
It is noted, I will keep you informed.

Hi,
I have 18 active extensions and I don’t use woocommerce.
Can you tell me if I have to wait for the link bug to occur again to deactivate all experiments or can I do it now?Regards
