Hi @gettingdownunder,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
I’m sorry about the recommended plugins. It’s not our intent to cause clutter. We try to provide as much value as possible to our users by suggesting plugins that we integrate with directly for more features, and help grow your business, because a lot of users aren’t aware of them and can benefit greatly.
If you would prefer to not use our suggested plugins, you’ll be able to deselect them for installation in the Setup Wizard. Here’s an example screenshot: https://a.supportally.com/i/3D9EGT
Or if you decide after completing the setup wizard to not use them, you’ll be able to remove them like other WordPress plugins.
We really appreciate you for giving us a try and if you have any suggestions for the things you’d like to see in the Lite version, please let me know and I’d be happy to share your feedback with the team.
Thank you.
Hi @upperfield,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
I’m sorry about the notifications. It’s not our intent to cause clutter. We try to provide as much value as possible to our users by communicating the Pro version features because a lot of users aren’t aware of them and can benefit greatly.
All notifications are dismissible, but if you’re having issues with this, I’m sorry about that! Our team would be happy to look into why they’re not closing as expected, since that shouldn’t be happening. Would you be able to reach us at https://www.monsterinsights.com/get-help/?

Hi @torgut,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the trouble here.
We don’t currently have reports of a similar issue, but our team would love to better understand the conflict you’re experiencing.
Would you be able to reach out to us at https://www.monsterinsights.com/get-help/ so we can take a look at things directly to resolve it?
Thanks so much!
Hi @care2michelle,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m so sorry for the delay here!
Before we dive in, I wanted to give you a heads-up that it’s against the WordPress Forum Guidelines to include site credentials in your posts, even if they’re for a subscriber role and not an admin role. I just wanted to remind you of this and suggest you edit your post to remove that information. A WordPress forum moderator may also edit your post to remove that information.
In the future, instead of providing credentials, please provide screenshots, videos, and error codes related to the problem you’re having, and we can use those to diagnose the issue.
I did take a quick look this time to help you out, and I’m glad to hear it’s likely cache that caused the initial issue.
By default, yes, once a survey is completed, it will remain closed.
I apologize that there isn’t a way to adjust the display length of a survey in our free version. In case it helps, our Behavior addon, as part of our paid version, does let you get around this (on top of our paid version adding other super handy features). We’re unable to share details about paid version features here (ww.wp.xz.cn policy), but you’re welcome to reach out at https://www.userfeedback.com/contact/ and we’d be happy to share more about this.
I’m sorry we don’t have a way to do what you’re looking for in our free version, but I hope these details are helpful.
Thanks.
Hi @robbie993,
Thanks for reaching out.
ExactMetrics can be deactivated and deleted like any other WordPress plugin. To do this please go to your Plugins page while logged into your WordPress site and look for the name Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP). Deactivating and deleting this will remove ExactMetrics from your WordPress site.
Here’s a general uninstall plugin guide in case it helps: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-properly-uninstall-a-wordpress-plugin/
If it’s not in your plugin list, then it’s possible you may need to use cPanel File Manager or SFTP (e.g., FileZilla) to remove the folder google-analytics-dashboard-for-wp.
If the above suggestions do not work, you may need to ask your hosting provider to help you delete the plugin.
Once the plugin is deleted, the ExactMetrics tracking codes and scripts will no longer be inserted (please make sure to clear cache as well).
I hope this helps but let me know if you have further questions.
Thank you!
