Hi Takuya,
thanks for your request. We use one build process with code splitting for the free and PRO version of Real Media Library. Therefore, both plugins have the same code basis and the same text domain, which is
real-media-library. You can always add you translations for this text domain in thewp-content/languages/folder of your WordPress installation.Alternatively, I can offer you that you submit your translations in a support request at devowl.io/support and after checking, we would be happy to make your translation available for all Japanese user. As a little gift for your work, we can offer you a free licenses of the PRO version.
Best regards,
Jan
Hallo Sam,
Jan

After seven weeks you get back to us by email. You said that you are able to reproduce the bug, but you will not fix it in the near future (no ETA for fixing the bug). The proposed solution is to change all our broken URL and not translate it anymore. By doing this, we would not only harm ourselves severely in terms of SEO, but also hundreds of links would have to be changed on our end, links from affiliate partners would no longer work, and more collateral damage would occur.
This is pretty sad and not only will we now have to look for an alternative for TranslatePress because it is not usable in our “complex” setup. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend TranslatePress to our 70,000+ users of our WordPress plugins.
Hi @klngroup,
I am very sorry for the inconvenience we have caused. And thank you very much for the kind comment.
I checked the problem and there were three sandboxes where deletion failed. So the system kept trying to delete them and sending you the annoying email. I have manually deleted the sandboxes, so you should not receive any more such emails from us.
If you still receive these emails, please open a support ticket at devowl.io/support telling us privately your used email address and I will make sure the emails stop as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Jan

In reply to: [Real Cookie Banner: GDPR & ePrivacy Cookie Consent] Additional languagesHi @polarracing,
if I understand you correctly, in
wp-content/languages/plugins/you want to store translations as PO/MO files for Real Cookie banners for languages we don’t currently support. We have tested this case and here we indeed have a bug. Translations from this folder are currently not loaded correctly.
In version 2.2.0 (to be released by the end of this week) we have implemented a solution so that your translations should be loaded in the future.
Best regards,
Jan
Hi @weiching-lin,
if I understand you correctly, when you use the search function in the posts table, you expect the search results to be displayed in your custom post order. However, currently they are displayed sorted by date in a custom post type.
We do not influence the order of search results. In general, they should not be ordered according to your custom order, but rather so that the most relevant results are displayed, so that the search works best.
Accordingly, we will not implement this feature at this time.
Best regards,
Jan

In reply to: [Real Cookie Banner: GDPR & ePrivacy Cookie Consent] Additional languagesHi @polarracing,
yes, most of the visible texts in the cookie banner are translatable in the WordPress customizer, service groups, services and content blockers.
All other texts, if needed, are translatable by simply translating the POT files in the WordPress plugin directory.
I hope that answer helps you further!
Best regards,
Jan
Hallo Hans,
Jan
In English:
We have made it possible that the WordPress backend login can also be blocked until consent is given. Thereby no cookie banner is displayed, but only a content blocker (if there is no consent yet). For this purpose, the service template and content blocker template “WordPress User Login” can be used. The feature will be available from Real Cookie Banner v2.1.0.
Hallo Hans,
Jan
Hi Ben,
in the article before, we recommend Justifed Image Grid. This plugin allows you to use the title, description and cover of a folder to generate a multidimensional gallery.
Please checkout https://justifiedgrid.com/sources/wp-real-media-library/folders-and-top-level/ to see a demo of this feature.
Is this what you are looking for?
Best regards,
Jan
Hi Ben,
thanks for your question. In our knowledge base at https://devowl.io/knowledge-base/real-media-library-image-galleries-from-folders/ we explain how our basic gallery feature works with page builders like Elementor.
Maybe our gallery feature is too basic for your need. In the article, you also find links compatible gallery plugins with more features.
Best regards,
Jan
Hi Cristian,
It’s sad to hear that you do not support relative links at all, because that’s a core feature “how the internet works”. At least, absolute links are a “workaround”.
Best regards,
Jan
Issue resolved by using the “Remove duplicate rows from TranslatePress tables” (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=trp_remove_duplicate_rows) feature.
Maybe TranslatePress loads duplicates when translating links (missing “limit” in query).
Hi samoreen,
Thank you very much for your feedback. We try to make our products as intuitive as possible, so we don’t provide hundreds of pages of documentation, but try to make the software self-explanatory. The knowledge base is a supplement to answer common questions of special cases.
What exactly did you not find in Real Media Library that you would expect documentation for?
Best regards,
Jan
