I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the free version of Real Category Management.

The free version of Real Category Management has all the features of the plugin for posts. If you want to use the same features adapted to custom post types like WooCommerce products, you need the PRO version. This is stated in the plugin description before the installation.

We understand that the plugin did not meet your expectations and you may not have read the plugin description before installing it, but we find it unfortunate that you give it a bad rating because of that. We would appreciate it if you would reconsider whether a 1-star rating is fair…

We understand that solving your problem is important to you. However, please note that if you open a support ticket on Friday evening German time, we will not be able to respond within a few hours. All our employees work Monday to Friday, as it is usual in Germany. With the answer today, we will answer you only one business day after opening your support ticket. Rating us negatively on multiple portals will not result in faster processing of your support ticket.

Unfortunately, we can’t judge from the outside what is going wrong with your WordPress. I can only assume that there is a problem with the REST API of your WordPress, which could no longer deliver the folder structure.

In the private support ticket you opened, I asked you for more information about your problem.

We would appreciate if you would reconsider if it is fair to rate us negatively without giving us the chance to answer you within a normal time period!

Was genau fehlt dir in der kostenlosen Version von Real Cookie Banner? Wir legen großen Wert darauf, dass du auch in der kostenlosen Versionen die Möglichkeit hast einen Cookie Banner einrichten zu können, der den gesetzlichen Anforderungen entsprechen kann. Features für Profis wie die Umsetzung des TCF-Standards oder Komfort-Features wie 100+ Service-Vorlagen, in die wir hunderte Stunden Recherchearbeit gesteckt haben, sind der PRO-Version vorbehalten.

Du verwendest WP Rocket auf deiner Website. In diesem nutzt du vermutlich das Feature “Unsused CSS” (siehe https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1529-remove-unused-css), welche das CSS zum unbluren von dem Cookie Banner fälschlich entfernt. Dies führt dazu, dass der Hintergrund auch nach der Einwilligung verschwommen bleibt. Beachte bitte, dass es sich bei diesem WP Rocket Feature um eine Beta-Version handelt, die zu Fehlfunktionen an deiner Website führen kann und dies auch WP Rocket so ausschreibt. Dieses Feature sollte aktuell nicht auf produktiven Websites eingesetzt werden!

Wir haben uns jedoch schon aktiv an das Team von WP Rocket gewendet und drei mögliche Lösungsvorschläge abgegeben (https://github.com/wp-media/wp-rocket/issues/5283#issuecomment-1202179821), sind jedoch auf die Kooperation von WP Rocket angewiesen.

Aktuell bleibt dir nichts anderes übrig, als “Unsused CSS” in WP Rocket komplett zu deaktivieren, bis WP Rocket sich bei uns zurückmeldet und einer dieser Lösungsvorschläge implementiert.

Wie kannst du helfen, die Problemlösung voranzutreiben? Am besten ist es, wenn du ebenfalls das Support-Team von WP Rocket kontaktierst und auf obigen GitHub Thread referenzierst. So können wir gemeinsam mehr Aufmerksamkeit für das Problem erreichen!

thanks for your rating. Real Cookie Banner is a complex WordPress plugin on which a team of several people has been working full-time since 2020. The plugin offers you new features and service templates on a regular basis. Moreover, in addition to changes in the law, there are also a lot of court decisions in data protection law that influence how a legally compliant cookie banner must look like. We try to keep track of these changes and provide you with the legal changes as conveniently as possible via updates. This is the only way to keep the cookie banner on your website legally compliant in the long run.

This effort causes corresponding running costs that have to be covered. To be able to offer you this service in the described quality, we have to ask you for an annual fee for the WordPress plugin. We cannot offer you a sustainable product of this kind for a one-time payment.

thanks for your question. Content Blocker can detect and block inline CSS, CSS link attributes, Google Fonts web loader and other embedding options. Technically, however, it is not possible to filter @import statements within embedded CSS files, since this would require rewriting the CSS file on-the-fly on the server side. This type of embedding is also one of the most inflexible for you as a website owner in a plugin ecosystem like WordPress.

Normally, you would block the whole templates.min.css file with a content blocker for Google Fonts. However, this will not be useful in your case, as it will cause undesirable malfunctions of Ultimate Membership Pro.

In this case, I can only recommend contacting the developers of Ultimate Membership Pro, tell them about your problem and ask them for a privacy-compliant version of their plugin (e.g. disable Google Fonts or include them as inline script).
