    Hey there!

This is a very simple plugin and doesn’t have an option to check for coupons. I don’t plan to add the option because I’d like to keep this as straightforward as possible.

    Hey there,

Thanks for that additional information – I understand that you want to set product prices based on the customer’s zipcode.

I’d recommend against using attributes to do that, unless you’re looking to use custom code to determine the price. I’m not a developer, so I can’t offer much advice beyond that it sounds convoluted.

I did a bit of searching and found a plugin that could help you with this: https://barn2.com/woocommerce-zipcode-pricing/

Alternatively, if you’re using shipping, you could use shipping rates to set the extra cost. WooCommerce already knows how to set different shipping rates based on zip codes – here’s how to get started with that:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-shipping-zones/

I hope that helps you in the right direction.

    Hey there,

    > There has been a critical error on this website.

That’s a pretty generic error, so you’ll need to dig into it a bit more to find out what’s happening.

The best place to start is the general troubleshooting page:

    FAQ Troubleshooting

If that doesn’t help you out, then the next step is a conflict test. Here’s how to get started:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/#section-4

    I hope that helps!

    Hey there,

Which site are you trying to go into?

It sounds like it might be WooCommerce.com – if that’s the case, then I recommend starting here:

    Hey there,

It sounds like you’re adding zip codes as an attribute to each product. To better understand how to help, what’s your end goal with that?

owever, all the ZIP Codes (for all eight counties) show up in the drop down menu

Which dropdown menu do you need? A screenshot might be helpful here – I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your response.

    Hey there,

Okay, so you’re missing all orders since January 2021 – it sounds like somewhere in the testing, the orders were removed. WooCommerce doesn’t have an option to do this, so something may have gone wrong with the database, the plugins in use, etc.

The best thing to do is to restore a recent backup that includes the missing orders.

    Hey there!

I don’t speak Spanish, but I can use Google Translate to understand your messages. Feel free to continue to respond in Spanish.

You mentioned that you’re trying to use a coupon but are being told that it’s invalid. This usually means that you aren’t allowed to use the coupon – for example, that it’s limited to a certain number of usages, a certain email address, etc. I’d recommend double checking the coupon settings under WooCommerce > Settings > Coupons.

If that doesn’t work, I’d recommend creating a brand new coupon and not adding any configuration beyond the discount amount and then trying to see if you can check out with that.

    Hey there,

It sounds like this is a small amount that PayPal charges to make sure the payment method is valid – and it’s reversed after confirmation. This is something that PayPal does on their end and isn’t part of our plugin.

If you’d like to know more about it, I recommend asking PayPal directly:

    Hey there,

Per the forum rules, we aren’t allowed to offer support for our premium plugins such as Subscriptions through ww.wp.xz.cn.

Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

    Thanks!

    Hey there,

As woocommerce square does not currently sync Square modifiers, we were wondering if you had any recommendations on how we could extend your plugin.

Our support team aren’t developers, so we aren’t able to offer insight on how you could extend the Square plugin. I wish there was more direction that I could offer you on this one, but you’d need to dig into the Square API information to learn more.

I’ll leave this thread open for a little bit to see if anyone else can chime in with more information.

    Hey there!

It sounds like there might be a problem with the settings for images being sent to Facebook. Can you confirm that you’ve specified which product image should be pushed through to Facebook, and that regardless of which option you’ve chosen, an image has actually been specified for the purpose?

    Hey there!

Okay, it sounds like you need to take payment for the voucher, and then actually issue the voucher to the customer.

In that case, Stripe is a great choice, as it’ll let you take payment. It just doesn’t know how to handle a voucher – I’d recommend taking a look at PDF Product Vouchers to create the actual voucher. There are likely other plugins that can do this, so feel free to have a look around – the important part here is that you need one plugin to take payment, and then another plugin to handle the voucher.

    I hope that helps!

    Hey there,

Thanks for clarifying! It sounded like there was a problem with syncing orders with Square – but now I understand that it’s a problem with the app itself. The problem is that the orders aren’t showing up everywhere, though they are showing up in the all-important WooCommerce > Orders overview.

Thanks for sharing the system status log! I noticed a few interesting things:

    • WP Memory Limit: ❌ 40 MB - We recommend setting memory to at least 64MB. See: Increasing memory allocated to PHP > lack of memory can cause some strange behavior, so I’d recommend chatting with your host about increasing this. For more info, here are the WooCommerce server recommendations: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/
    • In terms of plugins, it’s a fairly straight forward site, so I doubt that this is related to a plugin/theme conflict – though it’s always possible.

Before publishing the ‘new’ site, we used WordPress’ import/export feature to ensure the orders, products, customers etc were up to date in the database.

That may very well have caused some strange behavior – it’ll depend on exactly how the migration was handled. If it was a database level migration, it should be fine. However, WordPress’ built in tools aren’t meant to handle Woo data. If you check back on the old site, are you seeing the same display issues?

You mention an app multiple times – is that the WooCommerce mobile app, by any chance?

    Hey there,

Thanks for all of that info!

I tried deactivating all my plugins, and that didn’t work.

That’s part of a conflict test – the other half is to disable all plugins and then also switch themes. That’ll tell you for sure if there’s a conflict happening. I don’t think it’s likely here, but it’s always a possibility.

After further investigation if you go to Woocommerce > Products > Inventory and if you check the box for Out of stock visibility to Hide out of stock items from the catalog, it appears that it still thinks that it is showing out of stock product with the product count at the top of the page and the number it think are on each page.

This is sounding more and more like caching – but then caching at host level, as you’ve already ruled out browser and site level. Your next best option is to contact your host and see what kind of caching they are doing on your site.
