In reply to: Checkmarks disappeared (6.9 issue?)A client was having this problem yesterday in FF (Chrome is fine). I opened FF and had the same issue. Updated FF and now it’s fine. So I suspect it’s been addressed. Make sure FF is up to date as of today and hopefully that will fix it.

In reply to: [Anti Spam for WordPress Forms & Comments – CleanTalk] Email blur not workingUPDATE: I went into Advanced settings. Everything looked fine. Just for yucks I saved them again. Now it’s all working. Not sure if it might have something to do with the plugin update this morning but for now it’s working. Whew!
I spoke too soon. This morning it’s not working in my browser or an incognito window in Chrome but IS in Firefox.

In reply to: [Anti Spam for WordPress Forms & Comments – CleanTalk] Email blur not workingBINGO!
Thanks
Thanks for getting back to me quickly. This is very strange. Those files are there along with the UPLOADS directory. In the actual wp-content/uploads there is only the current year 2024 files.
- If I right-click on an image on the site (compellingconversations.com) and open the image in a new window it shows the proper path. Yet the images are contained in the wflogs/uploads directory.
- I’ve looked around at .htaccess files to see if a redirect was added and don’t see one.
Does this make any sense to you? It doesn’t to me. It’s almost like they were quarantined there or something? Weird!
P.S. I’ve checked wp_config and the theme functions.php files but there’s nothing in either pertaining to the UPLOADS directory

In reply to: Database Connection Error on back-end/options tableI tried to log in and it let me so I guess it did get repaired. I can’t see how to delete this post so….it’s RESOLVED!
THANKS!
Thanks, but unfortunately it doesn’t work with PHP/WP versions this old either. Do you have a repository of past versions so I can download and manually install it?
Thanks. I understand about the old PHP version issues but it’s up to the client. Is there a place I can download and manually install an older version of Envira that will work with this version of PHP?
Oh, it’s ancient. PHP 5.6.40. Which means WP is out of date too. Legacy client site who doesn’t want to update anything so it will all work.
THANKS! I updated both sites to the new version and they work great. (Yes, these two client sites require old PHP and other software versions unfortunately.)
Thanks for fixing this!
I’d love to but since the plugin won’t activate and gives the above FATAL ERROR message when I try to activate it, I can’t get to the plugin dashboard. (It does the same on another of the same client’s sites too.)
Is there an error file within the plugin files I can send or post?
If it’s any help the site error.log has a lot of these entries:
[25-Jun-2024 17:27:07 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /home/thai007/public_html/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/Postman/Wizard/NewWizard.php on line 482- This reply was modified 1 year, 9 months ago by maddogprod.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Update Causes Critical Error unless PHP is 7.4+I don’t know, Darian @d0153. Since I upgraded to PHP 7.4 in order to check that I’d need to downgrade it and see if I get the same problem. If I have a chance I’ll give it a shot and see.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Update Causes Critical Error unless PHP is 7.4+Both sites are working now because I upgraded PHP to 7.4 so there’s not a lot to see. They were both WP 6.6.1, I was upgrading to TEC 6.0.7, they use Divi 4.19.4 so everything is current. They *were* using PHP 7.3x
When I updated TEC I got the critical error page for the site. Checking WP errors on, it was TEC throwing the error and it said it needed PHP 7.4. The first site I downgraded TEC and it worked again. Then I upgraded PHP to 7.4 and re-updated TEC and it was fine. So when the second site did it too I immediately upgrade PHP.
The only thing I can find to pass on is one site’s error log, repeatedly showing:
[18-Jan-2023 17:09:46 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’ in /home/oursitename/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Rewrite.php on line 771
That’s what I know. Hope it helps.
