Hi @bikegremlin,
This does not look like a regular WordPress page: https://www.bikegremlin.com/page/4/?cat=-1
That is the subpage of a category, although we could not say for sure what is creating those URLs in the first place. The correct URL is https://www.bikegremlin.com/1864/press-fit-patrone/.
Please send us a screenshot of your permalink settings, so that we can try to replicate this issue on our end. In addition, are pages like this regular posts, or custom post types?
We are looking forward to your reply.
Hi @outrospective,
Please give us more details on what you are looking to achieve, so that we may provide you with the correct instructions.
If you disable the article schema for a post, all the other schema types inside the block will then return an error (such as breadcrumbs, as they’re inside the article schema).
You could use this filter with a function that returns false only on specific posts, but we cannot provide you with the exact code snippet for it.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi Mark,
Thank you for reporting this issue. We have not yet been able to replicate this issue on our side. To do so, please answer a few questions:
1) Are you getting this issue only on specific pages, or on the whole website?
2) Can you confirm you are using the latest version of Yoast SEO (12.1) and WordPress (5.2.3)?
3) Are author archives currently enabled or not at SEO → Search Appearance → Archives? We are looking forward to your reply.
Hi @rezashojaei,
Support on ww.wp.xz.cn is for Yoast SEO, the free version only. For any issues you might have with Yoast SEO Premium, please use any of the methods mentioned here and we’ll be happy to assist you.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi @markhowellsmead, please submit a new ticket for this, as we can’t say for sure this is the same issue yet. In addition, please perform a conflict check too, we’d like to make sure the issue persists when Yoast SEO is the only plugin active.
@kgaurav17 have you fixed this issue in the meantime? Or did you deactivate Yoast SEO? We could not find it on your website.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi Toma,
Do you use any page builder or other custom solution to add content to your posts/pages? We ask as Yoast SEO may not be able to detect and analyze that content, depending on the solution you are using.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi @joycegrace,
The H2 tag in this markup was actually meant to be used for a title of the block, not for the questions (the questions are still in strong tags). It is not currently possible to use H2 tags for the questions in the FAQ block. I’ll forward this info to my colleagues in charge, that snippet does not match the output of the plugin in an FAQ block.
If you do convert the blocks to HTML and edit the questions to H2 instead of strong, it’s unlikely that once we’ll add this feature they will convert back to FAQ blocks.
Rather than using 2 types of Blocks (one hidden with CSS), if you need headings sooner, then you might want to convert them to HTML to make these changes and use the WordPress revisions for posts. You can revert back to the FAQ block using the revisions, once we add this feature to Yoast SEO.
Unfortunately, we could not say for sure if the HTML tags will change and how. We couldn’t make a specific recommendation regarding the CSS for accordions on the FAQ Block. We don’t expect that many changes to happen, you should be safe to add the CSS and replace later
strongtoh2.Hi @steveraven,
The answer depends on what types of schema you are looking to insert into your posts/pages. Yoast SEO will automatically insert a type of schema depending on your SEO settings. You can find a list of the schema types inserted by Yoast SEO here (and in which scenarios it outputs any of them).
That being said, if you want a different schema type, then this is not currently possible from an interface.
Hi @pairfumlondon,
Yoast SEO should use by default the SEO title for breadcrumb titles too. The issue seems to be happening only on specific pages of your website (there are 590 valid pages and 36 with errors, according to your screenshot).
The issue seems to happen on the subpages of your homepage. Is your homepage a static page, or set to display the latest posts? You can check by going to Settings → Reading, in your WordPress dashboard.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi @karthikanair99,
Have you fixed the issue in the meantime? We’ve inspected your URL on Google Structured Data Testing Tool and could not find any errors regarding the breadcrumbs.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi @areijs,
Can you confirm your product from the second image is listed in 2 or more product categories? The ability to select a primary category is expected to show only if a product is listed in multiple categories.
We are looking forward to your reply.
Hi Toby,
Please send us the URL to your actual website’s XML Sitemap, so that we can inspect it and see what’s wrong. The error message you have provided does not contain enough information for us to provide you with a solution.
In addition, can you confirm that you are using the latest versions of WordPress (5.2.3) and Yoast SEO (12.1)? If not, please update first and let us know if the issue persists.
We are looking forward to your reply.
Hi @heathcliff2013,
Can you send us a link to your website, so that we can inspect the XML Sitemaps and see if there any errors? In addition, please include a full-page screenshot from Google Search Console, where you are getting this error.
The user from the ticket you have referred is still using the sitemaps from Yoast SEO, it’s very likely that the issue was fixed soon after opening that ticket.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi Noraly,
At the moment, Yoast SEO cannot analyze the content inside dynamic content blocks. A feature request has been sent to our development team, you can follow its progress here.
Our product team will asses feature requests in relation to other open bug reports and new features. Based on their assessment, the feature request will be given a priority. Our developers work on the highest priority first. Unfortunately, this means we cannot give you an estimate if or when they’ll start working on this request.
Hi @rohanjoshi0894,
We’ve inspected your URL in Google’s Structured Data Testing tool and got no errors.
Please send us a screenshot from where you are getting this warning message, so that we may inspect it.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
