Hello, thanks. So I see now the CSS option – as well as the custom template. Sorry I didn’t look close enough, should have seen these.

To be clear though, the Core Booster plugin would do this as well, and that is all I would need correct? Thanks

Thanks. Hooked it with Extender Pro and yep it works, thank you.

Since it’s a null height, the highlight is there upon arriving at the page, but the moment you scroll down it immediately turns off of course… but good enough for now until I can take a closer look.

Appreciate the great plugin and fast response.

I do note in FAQ ‘If your link’s URL is #top and no such target id exist in your page, the plugin will scroll the page automatically to the very top (determined by the position of the body tag in the HTML’ – So I suspect that’s why it appears to work scroll-wise – but if actual top id doesn’t exist on page it won’t trigger highlight.

I was thinking #top might be handled in some special way since it is a commonly used designation – but if not then I presume I need to find another id or manually hook a ‘top’ id in there somewhere.

Yes, it’s hard to say until I test… with Toolset, we are using many modules such as views and front end forms, and have extra code worked out for automated post titles, taxonomy assignments etc. based on field values at time of creation, extended relationships, etc. You know how it is after working with a product for awhile, not easy to drop habits.

But it is a big codeset and I think in other situations I like the idea of working with something lighter, and it seems MB could be a good choice here – especially as it produces code output, that’s really cool feature.

Could you tell me if I am correct or not:

With MB, can I create code for any aspect (including ‘settings’) and then disable plugin until needed again? Does it matter to disable it even?

I’m not sure what other differences there are (?) – but I know Toolset does not do settings pages or code output and playing with that at a local WP event in MB seemed quite good.

    Tx much

Hi, thanks – yes, that appears to be the way to go. While I appreciate that this plugin was created, IMO it seems to work backwards… seems it should have the option to DISABLE by default, and then SELECTIVELY ENABLE considering most people will only want the process running on a couple of pages max. Maybe I’m missing something. Again thanks much for the response.

    Hi,

First, thanks for this surprisingly good plugin. I say surprising because without Litespeed Server I never considered trying it – now that I see the “non-cache” features work so well, I’m wondering if there is documentation anywhere that targets those using this without Litespeed Server?

For example, under Excludes tab – I presume all of these settings are specific to the actual caching feature itself – so I would disregard them. But as the overall plugin is called “Litespeed Cache’ it makes me wonder if these settings impact any other aspect of the plugin. I could try testing each one I suppose.

I do see in the documentation you reference this, stating there are various features that will work without the cache – but if there is a list of which tabs/features are still in play please let me know. If I need to test them through that’s ok too – as this is a free plugin, I’m open to whatever works.

    Tx

Hi, thanks. Curious, does updating the wp-config with direct value provide any specific advantage? If after a move, duplicator doesn’t add the definition – is it best to do so manually anyway vs. leaving the auto method? Thanks

Interesting. This prompted me to look a further at your addons, and I didn’t realize how deep the rabbit hole went, LOL. When it comes to schema, you are either insanely intelligent, or intelligently insane – but I’m not complaining!! 😉

Hi, thanks. I asked because another plugin we work with has to specifically remove Genesis schema for example, so as to avoid duplication – as genesis doesn’t have an off switch for schema per say. But will try this one out and see how it goes.

I see… so to make sure I am understanding, if a plugin such as Beaver Builder for example, performs a proper enqueue of a selected google font, then it would be expected that this plugin would merge those calls?

If so, I think in the cases in which we are not downloading the fonts and calling them locally, the clients are likely using Beaver Builder and/or Convert Pro – which I would think would be handling them in this manner – but I will have to check how those plugins are loading the selected fonts…

    Thanks

Got it. Will check there. Appreciate that you are actively shaping this.

Fortunately I live in a world of dev sites and volume snapshots so testing / rolling back never an issue LOL.

I suppose the ability to allow to use Genesis hooks *except* for woocommerce might be a useful option, I don’t recall what that Genesis function looked like so I will go back and see if I can play with it.

    Thanks much

@garnishmusic Gravity Forms does this in a number of ways (email direct), and is also able to replace some of the other advanced capabilities like connecting to a remote URL, etc. Unfortunately it’s not free but worth the $$ for us as it is much more efficient to work with.

As I understand it, 500px is the max allowed by Facebook. Wouldn’t be so bad if it could be easily centered, but that seems to be a challenge with these plugins as well. Thanks Facebook!

    Hi, appreciate the quick follow.

Interesting (maybe) for anyone who cares – When playing with it I happened to set the audit window to 1 day and noticed overnight that the table did in fact get reduced to ~200 lines – but unfortunately the overall size consumption remained at ~3gig.

So in the end it was a table optimization that solved it.

Not a database expert, but from this it seems more of a database issue vs. the plugin itself.

    Thanks much
