In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Google rich snippet on SERPHi @manouallou,
Thanks for your high rate!
The free plugin never has this option, it was in the business plugin until 2019.
According to the changes in Sep 2019, Google forbidden a LocalBusiness and Organisation schema types in the Rich Snippets for all sites except a listing/directory-sites (like Yelp or FB), according to this it’s not possible used in the business plugin:
https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2019/09/making-review-rich-results-more-helpful.html
Also Google disallows using other schema types like Product, Book or Recipe for Google map reviews.
However, some other plugins have such a workaround, I mean use a Product schema type for a map reviews and, unfortunately, Google can mark the page with this markup like a spammy rating and drop from a search. We can’t take that risk and didn’t add/keep this workaround/option in the business plugin.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Hide review with paginationHi @tamias-airlab,
It’s available if you’re using a list layout, just type, for instance 3 in the Pagination field and you will see only 3 reviews with a ‘Next Reviews’ button below. It works like this.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] reviews issueHi @eve121,
Yes, it’s possible in the business version of the plugin through rating filter.
However, in the free plugin you can also do it. Just hide any review in the widget builder (page Google Reviews / Widgets in wp-admin), by clicking at the HIDE REVIEW link which is at the bottom of each review.
Thanks
Hi @ssjd,
In the source code of your HTML page I see only one review and it seems another issue.
Please send debug information from the plugin’s page: Google Reviews / Settings / Advance tab to support[at]richplugins.com.
Thanks!
Hi @natedanielz,
You pasted the plugin to a parent container (with class et_pb_widget) which has a width is 22.75% and the plugin is responsible only to this size. Please use a container with a 100% width to have fully on the page.
Thanks!
Hi @joegestalt,

Hi,
When this image is loading the plugin does not pass any personal information to Google, it’s also does not use any Cookies and according to this it does not have any relation to GDPR.
@dimensiondigitalnet please tell me why you need to make this image locally to better understand the issue.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Just Another Way To Give Google MoneyHi @amazulu,
Please see the below GIF, there’s I connected the reviews WITHOUT Google API key (and billing of course) in several seconds, just like anyone can do it, all you need to know is your Place ID on a Google map:

The API key is needed for further reviews update, but it’s free, because Google gives $200 free credits every month and this is enough to update even several connected places daily for the whole month.

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Number of displayed ratingsHi,
The plugin uses the Google Places API to get your reviews. The API only returns the 5 most helpful reviews. When Google changes the 5 most helpful the plugin will automatically add the new one to your database. Thus slowly building up a database of reviews. It’s a limitation of Google, not specifically the plugin.
The plugin can only download what Google returns in their Places API. It is usually the 5 Most Helpful (not newest) reviews. You can check what the API returns by entering your Place ID and Google API key in this URL:
However, if you got new reviews for your Google place, but the plugin does not show these, it means that Google didn’t include it to 5 most helpful and the plugin just can’t get this. It’s a limitation of Google, not the plugin.
The business version uses another GMB API and show all reviews with constant auto-updating.
Thanks!
Hi @chefnelone,
Yes, sure, the plugin updates reviews daily, but mandatory requirement is a Google API key which you need to create by our extremely detailed instruction on the page: Google Reviews / Support / Full Installation Guide and save into the plugin’s Settings.
Thanks!
