In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Frontend possible in german???Hi @whatspress,
This plugin works exactly like any other standard plugin and all messages translated in according to your website language settings.
When you select a language in Google connection (through your Place ID) it effects only the language in the reviews, but of course not for a UI of the plugin.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Frontend possible in german???Hi @whatspress,
First of all, please check which language you’re using in your wp-admin in the option: Settings / General / Site Language field. It should be German.
Also, could you send debug information from the page Google Reviews / Settings of the plugin (Advance tab)? Please send it only to out support email (NOT HERE): support[at]richplugins.com
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Reviews not UpdatingPlease do not public the debug information here, because it has your API key and at the moment, you need to recreate this. We recommend to send the debug information only to our support emamil (support[at]richplugins.com).
According to the debug information, the reviews are not updated because a billing is not activated in your Google console for the API key.
Recently, Google has disabled of using the Places API for free and introduced the mandatory billing. Unfortunately, since the plugin uses this Places API to show reviews, you need to enable Billing on your Google account. It’s a limitation of Google, not specifically the plugin.
You can enable a Billing here https://console.cloud.google.com/project/_/billing/enable and learn more about it here https://developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started.
Don’t worry, Google is currently giving $200 free credit a month and it should be enough to use the plugin for connecting several Google places without additional fees except this free $200 credits.
If you have any questions please let us know.
PS: Please create new API key and enable billing for this, you can read our extrimly detailed manual how you can do it on the page: Google Reviews / Support / Full Installation Guide.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Plugin repeats same reviewsHi,
First of all, try to reinstall the plugin from scratch. Please make the following steps:
1. Save Google Places API key and your Place ID somewhere except the plugin;
2. Delete all your current widgets and shortcodes where you have connected your Google place(s);2. Go to the page: Google Reviews / Settings / Advance tab;
3. Click ‘Install from scratch‘;
4. Paste your Google Places API key to the settings;
5. Reconnect your Place ID for all widgets and shortcodes with a selected language option.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Align CenterHi @robey7,
Instead of a slider, please try to use a list layout with the same options (hide reviews and etc).
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] review nr not updatingHi @edi361,
The reviews may not updated due a referrer restriction settings, please turn off this restriction for your Google API key.
See more information here https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/doesnt-work-with-restricted-api/#post-13306999
There’s detailed answer to this issue.
Please do not paste debug information here, because it contains your Google API key and auth plugin key. Since it posted here, please reinstall the plugin from scratch to regenerate the auth key and recreate Google API key.
If you have any questions regarding this, please let me know.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Default image is loaded from GoogleHi @kittmedia,
The transfer of only IP addresses for requesting images from third-party websites (like Google) can also be interpreted as a need for the provision of services for the correct operation of the site, and in this case this is also not personal data. You can see it in the same the second answer:
See my comment about consent not being required when the data is needed to provide a service. Logging is reasonably required to provide a service.Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Default image is loaded from GoogleHi @kittmedia,
At the moment we don’t have any solutions here, but I’m not quite sure that it’s needed at all.
I doubt that the IP address which is passed with every request to your website and any other third-party site (from your website page), for instance, a photo of the author of a Google review, is personal information. Since the IP address is impersonal without reference to a specific user (name), and this is exactly how (as impersonal) it is passed to Google when loading a photo.
I find confirmation of my words immediately when I try to find the answer to this question in Google by search request: GDPR is ip address personal data:
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=22241363
> GDPR treats an IP address as personal data. No it doesn't. GDPR only treats IP address as personal data if it is associated with actual identifying information (like name or address).https://cms.law/en/bgr/publication/does-the-ip-address-represent-personal-data
The IP address should be considered as personal data only when it could identify a particular person in each specific case.Please let me know if you have any thoughts on this.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Rich Showcase for Google Reviews] Review us on GHi @jaroslawistok,
Please understand that it’s a feature request and we need to investigate the possibility to add an option for custom labels, we can’t just change the existing message which showing on 100K other websites.
Thanks for understanding!
