In reply to: [Shift8 CDN] Template broken after installing Shift8Hello,
Can you confirm what the site url in your settings?
The system is sensitive so if you have :
http://fortisgroupcatalogue.freecluster.euIt will not find it ,but if you have the exact url you used when registering on our system , such as :
http://fortisgroupcatalogue.freecluster.eu/(note the trailing slash), it will work.

Can you post a screenshot of what the settings page looks like? You can remove the API key, I just want to see the site url and prefix.
Thanks

In reply to: [Shift8 CDN] Template broken after installing Shift8Hi there!
Sorry to hear about your problems.
If I had to guess, I would suggest that you clear cache with W3 total cache. If problems persist after the cache clear, perhaps disable the AMP plugin and to rule out W3 , disable that.
I should note that our plugin shouldn’t have problems with W3 total cache, but sometimes if you just install the Shift8 CDN plugin and set it up and forget to clear cache, things could look broken until its cleared.
If problems persist, please let me know here. Feel free to email directly as well [email protected].
Thanks!

In reply to: [Shift8 CDN] Problem with Images/MediaHey there,
An update was just pushed our for our plugin that accommodates lazy loading of images. This might be what the issue was for you, especially since lazy loading was introduced to WordPress core as of 5.5.
Please let me know if you notice an improvement on the rewriting of images/media to go through the CDN after applying this update.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Shift8 CDN] My icons are not showing after enable this pluginHello,
An update (v1.43) was just pushed out to accommodate lazy loaded images and assets. I would encourage you to try updating to the latest version of the plugin. If the issue persists, please feel free to option a new issue and provide specific examples of whats not loading correctly so I can investigate further.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Shift8 CDN] Error Detected : Could not find site in CDN.Hello!
I’m sorry to hear about your issues. The system is a bit sensitive in that if you add a trailing slash to the URL but the main site doesnt have a trailing slash when you load the site, it might not recognize it.
I have updated the site url in our systems to remove that trailing slash. Can you try it again? Most likely again it is just being sensitive. Sorry about the issues!
I’d be more than happy to help further if needed.
Thanks

In reply to: [Shift8 CDN] My icons are not showing after enable this pluginHello!
Sorry to hear about your problems. Is this still happening for you? I loaded the url you provided and can see that almost everything is going through the CDN on that page.
If there are specific elements that are not being rewritten , can you confirm what the URLs that are not being rewritten are?
You could try manually entering the URLs if its possible to force it to go through the CDN but let me know what the URLs are and I can take a closer look.
Thanks

In reply to: [Shift8 CDN] Could not find site in CDNHello!
I’m sorry that you are having issues.
First of all I dont see the plugin installed at all anymore on your site :
https://vendor26.com/wp-content/plugins/shift8-cdn/test/test.png
Second of all the site URL you entered for this is https://www.vendor26.com
It looks like your site is being rewritten from http://www.vendor26.com to vendor26.com.
- First of all , please re-install and activate the plugin.
- I have corrected the URL in our system from http://www.vendor26.com to vendor26.com
- Make sure the API key and CDNPrefix are set in the plugin settings correctly
- Update this issue and I can help confirm things further.
If your site has a redirect like that which happens when you enter http://www.vendor26.com and it redirects to vendor26.com , the CDN will have problems fetching static elements if that redirect is in the way. The site URL that the CDN fetches from has to be exactly whats on the site.
This CDN will definitely work for you if you are willing to do the above steps. I am here to help further if needed of course.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Shift8 CDN] Doesn’t workHello!
I thought I’d make one more update to clarify things. On the day that you had issues, we had some database cluster issues with respect to how data was being replicated. This could have affected how new registrations were propagating throughout our infrastructure.
I truly apologize for this issue. We tried to create a reliable and free service that works and is simple to use. We eat any infrastructure costs in order to provide a reliable service and again I am sorry you had a bad experience. I urge you to consider giving it another shot as things should be stable since that isolated incident.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Shift8 CDN] My site Template is break after i active Shift8 CDNI believe we resolved this issue via the ticket you opened recently. I believe a 3rd party plugin may have been interfering with our plugin.
Unfortunately sometimes this happens as it is difficult for us to anticipate what every other plugin does. If another plugin is offering caching or JS/CSS “cleanup”, it might be rewriting static assets and causing problems to how our plugin is trying to do the same thing.
Again I believe your site is now functioning with the CDN correctly.
