In reply to: [Autoptimize] Autoptimize cache filling up quicklyHi, I’ve been having some site outages which appear to be related to spikes in resources usage. When I troubleshooted the site, I noted that my WordPress needed an update, so I backed up the site and updated wordpress. Then I noticed that some of my icons were now left aligned instead of centered and some images were not appearing. When I turned off Autooptimize, the icons were back to the center and the images re-appeared. Deactivating Auto-Optimize appears to have stabilized things for now. I am also getting a warning about a PHP update that I need to take care of.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Autoptimize cache filling up quicklyIt’s been over a week and cache is still at 1%. So that’s a good sign. I’ll check back in another 2 weeks.

In reply to: [AppBanners] No star ratings & strange xThanks. Although the native methods are available, this is not so easy, especially on the Android side.
I was able to install the iOS native method but was unsuccessful on Android. Also, the iOS method only shows a banner on Safari only, no other browsers. So after spending a couple hours on this I’m re-activating this plug in so that it works on iOS all browsers and Android as well.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] new version crashed websiteThanks. I’m not going to reinstall it and instead going to rely on the backups done by Godaddy for now. I’d prefer not to but it took down my site for a day and I didn’t know about it. I’d rather that not happen again.

In reply to: Unknown files flagged after botched upgrade to WP 5.1i got the same error. I think mine was updated by the plugin Easy Updates Manager. I def did not do it myself. Pressing the reinstall 5.1 button then scanning again cleared the errors.

Hello, I sent a message through the link you suggested but I still haven’t heard back from anyone?

Yes, users are required to register before they can post anything. That’s been this way for years and I never got a message that hundreds of admin accts have been created. I would be great if the author of the plugin could respond.

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] Auto updates not working – GodaddyUnfortunately, my updates are not working. I let it go for a little while to see but no luck. The CPANEL comments was for another hosted site I have with GoDaddy. The problem I am writing about is using a WordPress Hosting account and it does not have any auto update features.
A godaddy tech rep suggested adding in a line into the code which enables update but I don’t want to mess around with the code each time. If something goes wrong, my site could go down.

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] Auto updates not working – GodaddySeems to be working still.
Also I found out Godaddy has an auto update feature if you are using CPANEL. Just load CPANEL, MY APPLICATIONS, click the WRENCH and you can set it to update wordpress core, plugins, themes.
