Can you confirm whether you’ve used WPML to generate each of the MO files for each language? I need to research this a bit, but I believe in the past when I’ve tested WPML that generating the MO file generally resolves issues like this:

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Error thrownAlmost ALL of our users use Yoast SEO and we don’t have reports of this. Most likely it’s a combination of Give + Yoast + Some other plugin. It’s important when testing with the Health Check plugin that you test with ONLY Yoast and Give, or ONLY GIve and the other plugin.
Awesome, thanks for the update. I’ll keep that in mind.
I’m working on a few docs for Give and Multi-language support and that will be important for the WPML doc.
If you’re enjoying Give and appreciate our support, we’d love a kind review from you here:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/give/reviews/Thanks!
HI there, apologies for the delay.
Which multi-language plugin are you currently using?
I think the dillemma is that our Donation Receipt is now loaded over AJAX (in order to prevent caching errors). So it’s most likely pulling the receipt table in your site language and not picking up the language switching mechanism correctly.
I think I can help you best if you contact us directly. Fill out our contact form and choose the option “You requested I reach out to you here” and mention me and this forum URL and we’ll get you taken care of.
Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Pre-filled personal infoHi @stacyvlasits ,
I just visited your page and I do NOT see the fields pre-populated at all. See here:
https://cloudup.com/c11j6ZvVjQ4As Ben mentioned, this is most likely a browser caching issue and seems to be resolved already.
Thanks!

Hi there,
You can add custom fields to your Give forms in one of two ways:
- Use our Form Field Manager Add-on
- Custom development, which we have detailed docs on that here
Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Custom Labels & TooltipsThe best way to translate short sentences is with this PHP snippet:
https://github.com/impress-org/give-snippet-library/blob/master/translation-snippets/simple-translation-snippet.phpJust update the translation to the EXACT words in the tooltip, and then provide your translation.
If you need guidance implementing custom PHP functions on your website, we have this guide here: https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/adding-custom-functions-to-your-wordpress-website/
If you struggle with it at all, provide your code here and I can tweak as needed.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Rollback - Rollback Plugins and Themes] Will not rollbackHmmm… one trick might be just to select the SAME version you’re on already. If you’re n 3.5.4, instead of selecting 3.4.9 just select 3.5.4 again and hit Rollback. This will essentially reinstall the same version, like a reset.
Try that and let me know how it goes.
Unfortunately not. Generally we aim the primary functions of Give to be beneficial for Nonprofit organizations. They are required to be able to disclose their donors for tax purposes. See here:
https://www.nonprofitissues.com/to-the-point/who-should-know-identity-anonymous-donorWhile anyone can use Give, we do target NGOs specifically.
Thanks for your consideration.
Hi there,
We put together this Doc to walk through some of the most common DB update issues. can you review that, act on as many items as are relevant, and let me know what you find?
Also, when you go to “Donations > Tools > System Info” there’s a line about DB Updates. What does that say?
Screenshots and or your System Info would help as well.
Thanks!
Hi @outside2inside — that is a premium plugin from CodeCanyon. Without access to that plugin I unfortunately cannot provide you with more details. I would suggest hitting up their support since they can easily install Give for free. If they find something actionable on our part let me know. They can send us a copy of their plugin via our Contact form.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Rollback - Rollback Plugins and Themes] Rollback is not clickableSorry, and additionally, NO you do not have to use the Staging option, it’s just our recommendation for ensuring that you are rolling back your plugins/themes safely. If you can restore your site on your own safely if things go badly, then proceed as normal. It’s just best practice to have an active backup or staging environment to work from so we’re encouraging that as much as possible.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Rollback - Rollback Plugins and Themes] Rollback is not clickableHi there,
That image doesn’t give enough context to know what is happening there. Most likely you’re either trying to Rollback a plugin or theme that is NOT from ww.wp.xz.cn, or you have a plugin conflict that is preventing WP Rollback from working as intended. I’d suggest using the Health Check plugin to troubleshoot that. It will allow you to deactivate all plugins and put your site on a default theme ONLY for yourself — your live visitors will not see that. We have a write-up on that here:
https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/troubleshoot-wordpress-websites-health-check/Then you can enable plugins one at a time and test again until you see the problem again. Then let me know which plugin caused the conflict and I can take a closer look at replicating the issue for you.
Thanks!
