In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Excellent pluginThanks so much for your kind review, we appreciate it!
It’s a real mystery. Can you reach out to us via our Contact Form and use the option “You asked me to reach out to you here” and in your message provide the URL of this forum thread and mention me. We’ll get you taken care of.
Thanks!
Hi there,
This question is regarding one of our paid add-ons. The moderators of this forum require that all inquiries about paid products happen elsewhere. Please use our Priority Support page for your inquiry and we’ll get back to you very soon:
https://givewp.com/priority-supportThanks!
Actually, before you reach out, can you also make sure to review this doc? This often will help resolve issues like that:
https://givewp.com/documentation/core/frequent-troubleshooting-issues/handling-database-update-issues/HI Nancy,
I think we could help you best via our website. Can you reach out to us at our contact page: https://givewp.com/contact-us
Use the option that says “You asked me to reach out to you here” and ask for me and include the link to this support thread.
Thanks!
Happy to help, glad to hear you got it sorted out.
If you’re enjoying Give and appreciate our support, we’d love a kind review from you here:

It is not possible to use WooCommerce payment gateways to power Give payments at all.
If you wanted to develop a custom gateway, here’s my best suggestions:
1) Review our code in the core Give plugin found in “wp-content/plugins/give/includes/gateways/”
2) Read through this article our colleague Chris Flannagan wrote on the subject: https://whoischris.com/building-payment-gateway-give-wp-donation-plugin-wordpress/Thanks!
The only thing that I notice that stands out is that you have an additional PayPal button in the footer of your website. It’s possible that the way that PayPal button is implemented is conflicting with how Give redirects to the PayPal website.
Do you know how that button is implemented exactly? Are you able to safely remove it?
What plugin are you using to implement the multi-language support? And what approach do you take with that plugin exactly? Are you creating multiple Give forms?
For example, some multi-lingual plugins have you create multiple forms but ALSO generate PO/MO files for the additional languages. That’s what you’d need to do in order for the language to be reflected correctly.
When the gateway switches it loads the new fields dynamically over AJAX, so WordPress needs to be able to load that language PO translation file in order to show them correctly.
Hope that helps!
Can you provide your System Info here? Go to “Donations > Tools > System Info” and click “Get System Info” copy and paste that here.
Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Error thrownYes, if you use Cloudup.com you can paste the URL here and they will be embedded automatically. Or just a public link from Dropbox or Google Drive is fine too.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] I have 3 questionsHI there,
1) No, payment gateways across plugins in general have to be specific to the plugin. We offer a wide variety of payment gateways on our website.
2) Yes, as you can see we power over 50,000+ websites all over the globe. You can see our demos here: https://givewp.com/demos or review our Case Studies, or Give Stories for live customer examples.
3) I’m not sure exactly your meaning here, but if you’re referring to our WooCommerce add-on, then please contact us via our Contact page. The moderators of this forum require that all questions here are only in regard to the free plugin. Thanks!
That URL works as intended now. This was most likely just a hickup in your permalinks. In the future, if you don’t see a single form URL working as intended, go to “Settings > Permalinks” and just hit “Save” without changing anything.
I do however notice that your site is using
/index.phpin the URL. While Give can work under those conditions, it’s generally not a good practice. I’d recommend removing it. Here’s a good tutorial on doing just that:

Hi @timurit — please reach out via our contact form. We can definitely help accomodate you and your needs there. Please reference this support forum thread when you reach out.
Additionally, the forum here requires that all inquires about our paid addons happens elsewhere, this forum is only for the Core free plugin. We’re happy to help you via our website, though.
Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Error thrownYou can, actually. See the tutorial video, it shows how you can enable Give during Health Check mode for testing things like that.
