MonsterInsights Lite itself does not need an account to use, it just needs to connect to a Google Analytics property.

Typically, sometimes properties are made under different Google accounts than expected, leading to connecting to the wrong property type during the authentication process.

If you’ve chosen to disable auto-updates, our plugin will respect that setting. Releases aren’t designed to change user preferences, however, if you’re experiencing something unusual, we’re happy to investigate it further and fix it.
