Hi @drbroad,
Thanks for reaching out.
This was an issue reported in 2.7.1. Would you mind creating a ticket to [email protected] with a system report?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
LoicHi @ironikus,
Hope you are well.
Would you mind upgrading to the version 2.7.4 of our plugin. The issue should be fixed with this new version.
Best,
LoicHi @pire,
You are welcome 🙂
As for your case, I would recommend the Manual Sync to avoid syncing unnecessary assets.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
Best,
LoicHi @pire,
You are welcome 🙂
Regarding the public roadmap, we do have one for Cloudinary products that you can find here but not for the WordPress plugin specifically.

Hi @pire,
Thanks for reaching out.
While this is not supported, we already have this feature request opened. In the meantime, to avoid syncing all the assets, you can use the Manual Sync mode and only push to Cloudinary the assets you want to be synced.
Hope that helps.
Best,
LoicThank you for contacting us.
Does the upload work when you deactivate the plugin?
In order to be able to further investigate the issue you’re experiencing, could you please create a ticket to [email protected] with the following details:
- WordPress version.
- Cloudinary Plugin’s version.
- The theme that you use and its version.
- A full list of all other plugins that you have installed on your environment.
- Page builders that you actively use.
- A screenshot of your Media Library in list mode.
- A screenshot of your Site Health under the Tools Section.
- Hosting providers & Plan (AWS, WP-Engine, etc..)
- Multisite environment (subdomain/subdirectory)
- CLI Access
Note that since version 2.7.0, you can use the new system report feature in order to generate all the information above except the screenshots.
Once provided, we will take a deeper look into it on our end, trying to reproduce the issue to better understand the root cause for it.
In case it will be necessary, will you be willing to provide us with temporary access to a sandbox environment of your site where we can take a look and debug if needed?
Looking forward to your update.
Thanks,
LoicHi @ironikus,
Could you clarify what you mean by your plugin is breaking the functionality of WP Webhooks on its own plugin pages? If you can share a screenshot where we can see the issue, this could be definitely helpful.
Thanks in advance.
Best,
LoicHi @ironikus,
Thanks for reaching out with all the details of the issue.
I will share this with my team in order to embed it in a future release.
I will keep you posted on our progress.
Best,
LoicHi @badoleakash,

In reply to: [Cloudinary - Deliver Images and Videos at Scale] Broke our website, avoid!Hi @theorydigi,
We have discussed your issue internally and we are hoping to release a fix during the next 2 weeks.
Regarding the loss of data, normally when deactivating the plugin, the images should be back as expected as they should point to your WordPress URL that embeds the year and date of the upload, so you shouldn’t have lost any data.
Sorry again for the inconvenience and I will get back to you when we get closer to the release.
Best,
LoicHi @theorydigi,
Thanks for reaching out.
We are actually adding a random string in the Cloudinary Media Library however, as mentioned in the review you submitted, we did spot an issue with this.
Also, if you can share more details, please create a ticket to [email protected].
Thanks in advance.

In reply to: [Cloudinary - Deliver Images and Videos at Scale] Broke our website, avoid!Hi @theorydigi,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
I was sorry to see that you were unsatisfied with our plugin. I have tested the use case you mentioned with the last version of our plugin, I can confirm we managed to reproduce the issue and are working on a fix.
May I ask you to share more details on the Youtube links error you have? We shouldn’t impact assets that are not synced in your Media Library. If yes, please create a ticket to [email protected] at least we can share screenshots and files over our ticketing system.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

In reply to: [Cloudinary - Deliver Images and Videos at Scale] error while adding mediaHi @vadimtet,
Sorry for only replying now, your response didn’t go through our ticketing system.
May I ask you to upgrade to
2.7.1which is the latest version? If it is still persisting, may I ask you to set the Sync Setting to Manual Sync – upload the image to WP and then Push it to Cloudinary manually.@bonzalika, may I ask you to also share a system report and try the instruction above?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Loic
