This plugin can connect and show up to 10 Google place instantly without API key, but it’s limited only for 5 requests to Google which is allow to connect one or two Google locations.
It seems you already excceded this 5 requests and your IP address (WordPress IP server address) was saved and limited. By this reason you see this message.
In this case you need to create your own API key and save in the Settings. It will allow to connected unlimited Google locations, but please keep in mind that Google can charge if you connect many places, more than 5-7.
Unfortunately, we are forced to limit the plugin in this way for initial connection, since many users of this plugin very often try to connect many Google places, which entails extremely huge charges.

Yes, it’s weird, you need to create a billing account and some time Google checks and verify that. Unfortunately, we can’t affect this process because it’s not depend from the plugin.

Recently, Google has disabled the use of Places API for free and introduced mandatory Billing. Unfortunately, since the plugin uses this Places API to show reviews, you need to enable Billing on your Google account. It’s a limitation of Google, not specifically the plugin.
You can enable a Billing here https://console.cloud.google.com/project/_/billing/enable and learn more about it here https://developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started.
Don’t worry, Google is currently giving $200 free credit a month and it should be enough to use the plugin for connecting several Google places without additional fees except this free $200 credits.

It looks like your site is very heavily cached and it didn’t reset the cache the last time we updated our plugin. Try resetting the entire cache, the CDN cache and rebuilding assets (css/js). If it won’t help, please send debug information to support[at]richplugins.com

Yes, that’s right, we try to avoid styles set in the theme, because often, very often, it looks like a nightmare, since not all developers understand what global styles are.
On the other hand, you are right that the widget should use the theme style, if of course this is done correctly and in the future we plan to make an option that would allow us to disable overwriting our styles.
